Some leftover food fell into his petri dish and this slimy mold killed the bacteria that it touched. This "slimy mold" is now known as a very important antibiotic. That's why Clay said "You're not Dr. Fleming discovering penicillin" because Justin is a slob that leaves old food around his room.

she helped move the plot along and helped us "sympathize" for Bryce as a somewhat neutral third party.

Sophie Albrecht me either. but her character is what helped us see that Bryce was trying to change and become better. She's was the only person who would have given him another chance since they had no past history. I hated her lmao I'm just saying I understand from a writing perspective.

Love this show. I like that it is very confronting and eye opening. Also like that clay is such an amazing friend to those who needs help. This show also shines a huge spotlight on suicide and a whole lot of other real world stuff. Anyway this is just my opinion i hope i didn't offend anyone by posting this. 13 reasons why... i love this show, it help me to understand a few things.

I love how season 1 Justin and Clay had this rivalry to the point where Justin legitimately wanted to kill Clay and threatened him constantly. Then it’s season 2 and they adopt Justin. Season 3 and 4, Justin is easily overprotective of Clay.

I just finished watching this show. I fell in love with their bond. The way Justin's character mature and develop is so perfectly orchestrated. The heartbreak of losing Justin, his death we didn't see coming. I hate it but it has done justice for his character. Finding real friends and family, especially a brother; a person with his side on his last hour. Bravo Clay Jensen and Justin Foley. Farewell. You did well.
It's times like these that help lighten this show's extremely dark nature.
