- In the space of just one week, President Cyril Ramaphosa blamed
apartheid for SA's lack of well-qualified engineers and town planners.
Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu then took a leaf from the
same playbook.
She blames the past for last week's deadly building fire in the Joburg CBD.
And just yesterday, Cooperative Governance Minister Thembi Nkadimeng
also blamed apartheid spatial planning for the government's service
delivery failures.

Apartheid is Alive and well.
The ANC has created their own version of apartheid. They kept apart knowledge from ordinary South Africans. Schools were not given a higher-level syllabus to lift the people to the best they can be. They took away the apprentice model and technical colleges and left the people without practical skills. They took away the Mentors by retrenching all the skilled workers and replacing them with salary earners. Don’t be fooled Apartheid is alive and well in the reverse of what it was. And yes, apartheid is to blame for all but it’s the ANC’s apartheid, not the NP apartheid.
We need a documentary about this to expose this useless party

As for Germany they were occupied and monitored by the allied forces.

Apartheid is responsible for Phala Phala for not covering well enough not suitable mattresses and even the minister of Apartheid minister Zulu for her lack of insight and providing shelter for the less fortunate and allowing foreigners by their thousands to occupy empty buildings. Blaming apartheid for their inability to govern is unacceptable I also suffered under apartheid just as we must endure today under lawlessness allowed by the ANC.
We were better off under apartheid SA …housing and infrastructure, education and training, healthcare, safety and security, job creation, transport, service delivery and the list goes on.

I think that if this government had to first give attention to solving the situation of the poor of this country before embarking on allowing its OPEN BORDERS POLICY things would have been far better. We as a country cannot also entertain and solve the financial problems of other corrupt African countries while we have problems of our own to solve. Well Cyril, I have been helping project delivery that is probably worth around USD4 billion, since I left SA in 2004. I grew up in Zululand and graduated as a Master of Engineering. I had a jolly working in Nigeria, but when I returned to SA, every job I called about, said:"Sorry, you can only apply for this job if you're black, colored, indian or asian". So I left, because I'm white. What other choice did I have to earn a living? Why are you blaming me? And apartheid, which you've failed to redress while having complete political power for 29 years now. No mr. Ramaphosa, we are tired of you blaming everything on apartheid. The race card has been exhausted. You are responsible for the state of SA today, and only you (along with Mandela, Mbeki and Zuma). By the way, I'll never return to SA so you can abuse me with your BBBEE laws. Not gonna happen. Merry Christmas!!

Khayelitsha in the Cape is a clear example of remnant of apartheid , that long gone system still affects people lives, present situation. Again, in Cape Town , the Citizens living closer to railway tracks,the planned land acquisition to build them decent low income/ social housing project was rejected and the sum of money designated for the purpose returned by the Mayor, right?
