Yep - she's possibly the busiest drummer I've ever seen.

The incredible lightness of being Lovebites. I've never heard heavy metal played with such ease, elegance, dignity and virtuosity. A unique band!
This was Fani's first concert with Lovebites and her first ever in front of a big audience. I guess she'll play the old songs like she always does, but maybe she'll add something special. It's different with songs that are just being written, you'll see how her skills carry along. That is the difference to the western bands. They see themselves more as a group / collective where no one is the superstar. Each has its talent but is not put in the foreground. Fami as the newest and youngest member is supported on stage and she lets the older ones take the lead there.

There really aren't many Lovebites songs where you could really focus on one of the members being the star of the song. Even in those few instance to me personally, of course all members are totally involved and equally responsible for the song. I always call "Swan Song w/Chopin Intro" the Miyako Show. In this case, I end up focusing on Haruna. Asami's vocals are amazing. M&M masters at harmonization. Fami pounds at the bass. But Haruna was just insane in this song.
Regarding Miyako, my favorite musician ever, has a stoic on stage mannerism that I absolutely love, and a perfect contrast/compliment to Midori. I'm an introvert, and somehow Miyako speaks to me in her performances. I think she is a perfectionist and hyper-focused when she performs, and that contributes to what you see. She smiles plenty if you follow their social media and in many songs.

Its Lovebites doing wonderful Lovebites things. I just wanna give Asami some love. She aounded great on the new album but these new live vids she is absolutely incredible. Her voice is spetacular but its her stage presence that I love more. She is having the time of her life. I love this band.!!!

I always enjoy your Lovebotes reactions guys. Legend has it that this was the last song recorded in the studio with Miho, therefore never made it to CD. This concert is the first time fans have heard the song. My opinion is, when Midori and Miyako stand on Haruna's platform it is sort of an homage to the original members. I could be wrong, but that's what I took from it. Thanks guys for another Lovebites reaction. Cheers.
That's not quite right. It definitely made it to CD since Nameless Warrior is the openeing track on their "In the Beginning" Best of album.

The song was written after it was decided that Miho would leave the group. The MV was a collection of past footage. Many fans feared that this would be Lovebites' last song.

Asami is good at expressing energetic emotions．
Miyako is expressing
passion in silence．Both musicians are great and captivate us in a different way‼️．
This performance has passion and energetic perfection at a level that could have kept the Titanic afloat through the night! They had the wrong band.
Welcome back, I’ve missed your Lovebites reactions. I have four reaction channels that I always look at first if one should come into my nightly Lovebites reaction search…and the Windmill is one of them. This song was very poorly received overall when it was released as an MV almost two years ago, with the result that the poor first impression that many people had meant that they rarely, if ever, played it. Now there’s a live version many of those same people are saying that it’s an improvement.
Apart from the visuals of a live LOVEBITES performance and the fact that they are so effortlessly awesome live, the song, to me, is no different than the original. By that I mean the original was always a banger of a song, if only, like me, you’d listened to it more often when it came out. Its frantic tempo meant it wasn’t easy to take in on first listen and I myself wasn’t sure it was “LOVEBITES” enough, but I remedied that gross error of judgement by playing it again and again. Only on the second listen did the epic breakdown really stand out, and how anyone could ever have ranked this low in their LOVEBITES “chart” with THAT breakdown in the song baffles me.
LOVEBITES never have, nor never will, release anything that is of less merit than anything else in their catalogue. They’re genetically incapable of doing so. One thing about Midori-san’s solo. On the original it is a dual solo of synth/keyboard and guitar (at least that’s how I always heard it). Because of the relentless pace M&M obviously decided that Miyako-san switching to a keyboard would never work seamlessly (though I bet they tried!) and so this is the reason Miyako-san doesn’t get a separate solo. Not to be robbed of her moment in the spotlight, the part where she plays a bluesy riff over the melody atop the steps, after Midori-san has already stepped down is, I’m pretty sure, Miyako not wanting to be left out.
Of course if they had played the keyboard/guitar dual solo, then this would be (as intended) one of only four Lovebites songs (I think) where M&M don’t take turns soloing , the others being Victim of Time, Signs of Deliverance and We the United.

@@zeplica2004 I didn’t try, though I might be able to go with someone who bought two. I’m waiting to see if they announce anything else, USA or Europe. I need to save up for a while, because I’m going to Japan a third time (don’t ask how I afford it, I don’t know myself!) to see Fami-san in her collaboration show in Osaka and Miyako-san’s evening piano recital…both of which I’m really looking forward to.

I don't know a Japanese deathcore band, but if you want more dark/brutal stuff from Japan, there's a new thrash band called Valkyrie Zero (all women, I think?), then there used to be a really rather dark and blackish crust punk band called Gallhammer (three women) twenty years ago, and then of course there's black/dark/prog grandfathers Sigh.

That was my feeling as well first hearing the song, but it has really grown on me, and now it is easily one of my top favorites from them.
