I found a micro machine behind my grandma's old stove. It was mine from back in the day. It was the blue F-14 tomcat. One of my prized peices in my toy collection.
So much nostalgia. Was a hot wheels kid. They didn't roll well but loved the ones with rubber tires. Having kids now makes me realize how great our toys were compared to today (and cartoons). Don't think we will see re-releases in 20 years of a unicorn that poops sparkles.
I remember the micro machine train and the warm water color changing ones too. My brother still has a turquoise Ferrari that was a limited edition extra in a pack of cars.
Wonder if the guy who made the book was the one who create the Mike’s MicroMachine Collection webpage. I think Mike’s got most if not all of the original lineup.
I loved all of them!! The book is a Must Buy. I look forward to the return of Micro Machines later this year by Jazwares. Even though they'll be a shadow of their former self 🚗
careful with this book - the author has questionable knowledge about correct data, especially regarding release year and rarity. Quite some models have wrong data attached to them, so it shouldn't be a basis for collecting. Otherwise it's fine.

Wow. Blown away by the production quality of this book. Glad to see something so “micro” being paid such a large homage. Thanks for the content man!
BitMap books always knocks it out of the park with each one of their book releases. Top notch quality all the way!

The orange and yellow tip trucks with black lines on them best
I couldnt find a review on a 1989 official guide. Maybe you could do it
Yes! Red lambo was my favorite. And if it's not micromachines is not the real thing. lol
Penny racers are cool too.
The only thing the book didn't cover was the Micro Machines video game series.
Very cool book..I still have a book full of these..
If you had micro machines you were an 80s kid. Mine went in the trash and backyards to die.
Nice review, good to see you featuring different media 👍.
