  • This video was shot in the fall of 2023. The video depicts me running several of my mixed freight trains up and down my main line. The power that you will see is my USA Trains SD70 Ace ( ex-SD70 Mac), my Aristocraft Dash 9, and my Bachman Dash 9. The Aristocraft is my foreign power in UP paint scheme. Note the weathering on this locomotive, which I did myself with paint & chalk. I also created a burn mark on this locomotive, to show a former turbo fire. I created the weathering on this locomotive by viewing several photos of older UP Dash 9s that I found on line. My trains in this video are carrying woodchips, lumber, paper and propane. You will see the train climb steep grades, cross wooden trestles, pass sidings filled with storage cars, and wind around my famous loop created after the Tehachapi and Williams loops. Sit back and enjoy the G scale action. Please be sure to hit like and subscribe. Thank you for watching!

This is fantastic cinematography. I felt like I was a 3.25 inch (10.5cm) tall figure standing there watching trains go by. Excellent modeling.

If I didn't know this is G scale, I would mistake it for a prototype train. It's that realistic. Cool. It would be even cooler if there was a FRED on the coupler of the last car on each train. And, you could ramp up the cool factor even more by placing an engineer and a conductor inside the cab of each unit, if you haven't already.

I swore I saw someone move in the cab of one.

If you dont mind me asking, how much as whole this consist costs? Locomotive and the rolling stock in this video. It has to be a least several thousands of dollars. The amount of detail and scale is insane.
