Imo I wouldn't have minded the linking requirement if Sony didn't get its data stolen every god damn year.
I guess this is separate from the base game of Tarkov.

After playing for a while today, I feel that Arena Breakout Infinite has the potential to surpass EFT someday, at least it won't take 7 years of testing.
I do agree, they just need to tinker with how they make money like the "cases", and fix a couple bugs and optimization for lower end pc's. If they can pull that off tarkov will have crazy competition
Yeah too bad it’s pay to win. With monthly subscription. And they’re not gonna add all those features Tarkov has. People don’t realize how unique BSG as a studio was, sticking to their game with a 1 time payment for 7 years of service updates and game leading mechanics. I mean they did these things in 2017. Why are games 7 year later subpar and being accepted by the community. Makes zero sense. Seems like people don’t truly understand video game development processing
@@JustJulianMusic monthly subscription is justifiable. You get a free polished game and pay for premium stuffs. Every weapon and armor in game is free you basically don't even have to pay unless you want cosmetics or supporting the devs.
@@JustJulianMusic”one time payment” of $250 lil bro😂. How a game can be tested for 7 years and make ZERO progress forward is what’s baffling to me. Audio still doesn’t work. The game still runs horribly (funny because grayzone runs better than tarkov for me). Seems to me that you’re the one who doesn’t understand game dev. Why you are meat riding tarkov is unknowable to me. That game makes no progress ever. They put more work into the new “unheard edition” than they ever did into their actual performance or game fixes
@@eliteghost0001 have fun with your tencent game. Not riding just stating facts. Come with some real facts then we can talk. Saying Tarkov hasn’t progressed in 7 years when these clones don’t even have mechanics implemented that work flawlessly in Tarkov. And bruh it’s 2024 these games are shit. They ain’t doing nothing Tarkov did and nothing more than Tarkov did back in 2017. Talk about riding Tarkov. Man I knew this video was coming😂 Glad I'm not the only with these concerns
The same people talking about pay to win legit paid for eod on tarkov which gives your way more space in your inventory in game and your stash lol
Anyone who’s played the game knows it’s not P2W. You don’t even have to pay a cent to advance. Only thing you pay is skins and secure case but none of that is game breaking or takes advantage in-game. Anyone whose used real money only used it because they have no more Keons from losing so much or expand secure case. You can earn Keons in-game if your a good player you don’t even need to expand secure slots. Nothing in this game is P2W. It’s a free game that everyone can enjoy without paying.
No game has a perfect anti-cheat programs. It’s how they maintain it. Compared to tarkov they already made a clear excuse why they can’t handle cheaters. So comparing the game is mostly just how cheaters handled and gameplay. For money there is no comparison.

The spending money for convenience thing isnt a big deal, its like 3$ a month for a 2x2 safe container or 6$ for a 2x4 and fairly unnecessary, you can get a free 1X2 for bullets for 47 hours each week with in game points, theres also a hige keychain you can soend money on but the one you get from questing is more then enough.

If Stalker 2 is a great Game i really would love if they invested money into a second studio maybe in czechia or something that makes an extraction shooter in the zone. It would be so cool collecting artifacts with other Stalkers while shooting Mutants, Monoliths or Bandits and more. Could even be made like Gray Zone Warfare where every faction has a base and you venture out to do quests or go on loot runs in an open world.
Im just assuming their business model is the same as mobile. It's not as bad as it seems because the people who just buy the boxes for equipment are generally pretty bad at the game. Anything you buy can and will be lost to players who never spent a dime. I never spent any money in the mobile version and I did completely fine. Pretty much completed their version of a "wipe".

Yes, you could grind for all of it and the game gives you enough gear to work with but even those more expensive bullets topping out at over $1,000 per bullet, which you’ll need just to survive in some of the hardest levels and seeing as though I’ve been one shotted through a $200,000 helmet from a cheap gun with cheap bullets, it does have a very pay to win aspect and the the way they do cosmetics makes you end up paying $25+ for a weapon skin. Ive played the mobile game quite a bit, The micro transactions are skins, a bigger secure container(like Tarkov) and kits. Most people wont even buy the kits for real money because you can loose it to a shitter with a double barrel shotgun. It doesn't give you more health or any major advantage, its a free game. I don't mind paying for convinience like stash size,xp boost stuff like that as long as its pricing is reasonable.
I think paying you should be expected to pay some money to fully enjoy the game.
I think having a premium subscription like in ESO is the best way to secure stable income for the studio and not making the game "Wahle-able".
Its healthier for the game to have crucial feature behind paywall and have most player to pay like $10~20 every few month than have $100 skins.
Been playing the mobile version since the first beta, it is S4 on the global version now. I have reached 20 mil without even topping up once.
This game is completely skill based. topping up will only give you convenience like currencies to buy better weapons, but it doesn't matter because you'd still lose them if you suck.

Exactly. Wish everyone was like this.
IMO, free to play games like this should have two versions and one type of monetization. A limited version of the game for free, full featured version for $40-70. That's it.
Maybe make the equivalent featureset and stash size of the basic edition of Tarkov be free. And the big stash size + all available features be behind a single full price paywall. Keep a basic stash size, maybe lock stuff like insurance behind a paywall, but all the SAME singular paywall. Just two options, free to play, or paid, that's it. *NOT BS LIKE* $20 for full progression, $10 for insurance, $25 for stash size increase etc... Just free basic bitch edition or one single payment for all features. So something like a permanent demo/trial being the free version.
Serious players still bring in full price bucks, free to play gives people a taste and helps keep the game populated. Maybe even cap the progression for free to play (you can only go to level 50 instead of the full 100, can only get through the first chapter/third/section of the questline, etc...)
I don't mind paying $10's of dollars, if it's one paywall and one lump sum. Buy once, cry once. There should be a way for free to play to also have a buy once cry once monetization
Big shoes to fill. BIG shoes. If they deliver… game changer.
Mag release on tha left is driving me nuts and why is the laser always on
Let's just face it, there's never going to be a Tarkov killer. Even a direct rip off using the same code is already starting to have serious concerns and it hasn't even come out yet
I see this from a different perspective and feel your thoughts are completely valid.
Skins: They often will take away from the realism but can actually be pay to lose if theyre bright colours etc. Tarkov's creator mentioned creating skins for their game too (not a Tarkov player for reference)
Pay for convenience: 100% Crap but usually the people who do this are rubbish at the game and will probably just be easy targets for skilled players looking for a big payday in a looter shooter. People will go whaling for whales and it'll balance out imo.
The mobile version has subscription stuff in it for free loot/storage space/kit and they're quite pricey but the game itself is pretty generous by way of daily challenges that grant free money and/or kit. Idk about its current monetization scheme but they were that way in the closed beta and launch of the mobile version.
Never felt the need to subscribe to it other than extra storage space, and yes, there are stashes that the vendors are trading for some required loot just like Tarkov, so you probably dont need it unless you like hoarding stuff to sell more stuff in the flea market which is quite fun itself.
One thing I can say about this game, even on mobile, it's polished as f. i hated it on mobile because i suck on playing fps on it, but it's actually beyond decent. You can see the money that went to it. It's as if they've consulted some experienced western devs to work on the game.
It's a great alternative for the more punishing Tarkov and the game feel isn't far off either. Idk if I can trust Tencent software on my PC though
i play the mobile version, the things you can buy:
t4 gear + gun (mid)
season pass (gives u t4 + weapon ad ammo packs )
a safe
2x1 or 2x2
i only buy the battle pass and its more than enough for me bc i get high end gear the “legit” way and the t4 from the pass is basically a “casual match stash” that i use when i dont mind loosing loot
also, the safe can be bought every week with ranked currency
it doesn’t get in your way
unless you suck at the game and compesate w wallet
also if you dont play scav and use the market to make extra currency
edit: theres also a monthly subscription 40k weekly/daily (cant remember) and a safe
its 25-50 R$ here in 🇧🇷, imo this is a waste of money, id rather buy a 6 pack of budweiser with this 25-40 reais
The “Chinuhhh” was gold.
Free to Play and Chinese developer is probably the biggest combined red flag in gaming
Damn I was actually looking forward to this one
Still try it, if you want to see for yourself try the mobile version it's free anyway. This youtuber is just yapping without trying out the mobile version, they won't change the game much its just brought to pc.
if they go the path of exile way selling inventory space or xp multiplyers i woudn't mind honestly, as long as the free to play inventory isnt just 2rows..
also more f2p games should have a free version and a payed one..
In full release there are no storage wipes, you keep what you keep. About the 2nd phrase, cod in general will benefit from this, multiplayer is shit and should be free, campaign should be paid.
how exactly are they suposed to earn money without monitization?
If Bunny skins will be added = R.I.P.
Goddammit. I was excited.
Shit fry you know we appreciate your opinion all the time my guy or we wouldn’t watch, keep up the good work as always bro! ❤
They will have microtransaction but on the minor battlepass vs subscription. Where you use money to get certain advance when use real money. But i think it’s still fair cause they just use real time and money instead of spend hours to grind. And of all, i think it’s also a good one for those who want to jump in with friend and enjoy their precious time.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
We have to realise that this is a free to play “mobile game” that has been converted to pc it will have micro transaction. This is how these types of games are kept alive. And the micro transaction are very cheap from just a few cents to a few dollars, I do believe that this game has a lot of potential and shouldn’t be rated by the “in game perching”.
Bangers!!
Convenience and personalisation is exactly what they should do in a F2P game, as long as you cant pay to buy a thermal straight up.
getting a thermal straight up quite literally would be convenience tho.
In all honesty it can't be worse than gray zone warfare randomly starting to restart my PC without having any issues hardware wise and without me being able to force an emergency restart with anything I try otherwise - which then even forces me to restart again because I get lag spikes after running it for even 5 minutes or getting that emergency restart.
Simply because that's just straight up not beatable by anything.
Cant wait to buy my pink ghilie suit
its not pay to win you can buy a couple of gear bundles and their is a battle pass but their is a free version that still give you a lot of stuff and the monthly subscription is nice but you can buy containers with the money you earn from raids and if you do spend money on gear you can still get one taped by someone who is f2p if you don't have the skills to back up the gear you have on it doesn't matter you will still die.
and you don't even need to spend money on currency you get it at the end of the season if you play
The mobile version have subscription for secure containers on top of a battle pass which are pretty expensive.
The secure containers are extremely cheap. The BP is 5 bucks and the ultimate one (that provides no extra p2w just more cosmetics) is 15 if you feel generous.
As an avid mobile player you can buy currency and you have to buy bonds which unlock more storage space
Also you don’t get gear back they half ass give you med supplies
@@ogcookiemonster4649you must be a newbie considering how Joel only gives painkillers when you have started the game.
Kinda makes me wonder how they will treat the steam deck / linux users that will be interested in the game
Some of that recoil looks doooogggg breh.. will be curious how it looks live tomorrow
Have you ever shot a gun?
@@fratelemika1290 nuh uh, I was a boyscout once, tho
Fal has high recoil so its expected. Some guns have low to zero recoil so don't worry about it much
