This is cool, like perfect place for kids...and so many of your family members went together, it looks like you have a pretty close knitted family. thanks for sharing. Enjoy your Sunday. ed (f)
Paolo Alexander, for some reason I can't reply directly to your comment. However, I listened to the larger clip that I took from my VHS tape and did a little bit of research based on what I heard. I think the song might be called The Ball Crawl. Thanks for your question!
+Jet Tom I wish I could have been there to know what it was like... I was born in 1995, so I was only in the decade for five years. I remember a little bit, but most of what I know comes from videos like this! The first ten years of this century were my childhood, and the world was quite different during that time as well. My cousins were 90s kids 100%, though.
Gabriela Del Rio I asked my mother about it (she is in the video) and she says that she only went with my cousins to locations in Tampa and Brandon. Thanks for the suggestion, though! I hope we can figure this out.
BlueParadoxical this stage is called the road stage and there are only 3 in Florida. By the way this is probably not hilaleha Florida due to the layout so it might be sunrise Florida.
No. Tons of stores had Road Stages before converting to a 1 or 2-stage later in the 90's - Newington, Diamond Bar, Levittown, and Silver Spring come to mind. This is Tampa Carrollwood, trust me. Great video btw!!
chuckecheeseshows Thanks for clearing this up! So, now I have videos on here of both locations on Dale Mabry Highway. Too bad this one isn't around anymore.
Bat Munch Yes, I'm going to try to get it on here this weekend! Just like you said, it's a very large place, and it seems like almost everything is laid out in one big room. The video was actually taken a little earlier than this one.
I'm sure that it is closed. If you look on Google Maps at the location where it used to be, you can see that it isn't there anymore. The location shown in my video was on Dale Mabry Highway, but in a different shopping center. You can see it here: www.google.com/maps/search/mission+bell+carrollwood+tampa+fl/@28.0641528,-82.5034611,414m/data=!3m1!1e3 However, the other Dale Mabry Highway location is still open!
Gabriela Del Rio It's definitely in Tampa or Brandon, but you're right, it wasn't taken at the same location as the last video. The first video that I posted was taken at 14308 Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. My mother thinks this one was probably taken in Brandon, but there was once another location in Tampa at 12707 North Dale Mabry (Mission Bell Plaza), so we just aren't completely sure. I've tried to use modern pictures to compare the two, but it's hard to do when it has been over twenty years ago!
No... See my other comment. Sorry if I sound like a know-it-all right now, but this is Tampa. Pizza Time Theatres (Tampa Carrolwood was a PTT) often converted to newer stage types by the late 80's/early 90's. From 87-90, stores converting received the Porch stage. From 90-91, stores received the Road Stage. Later on in the 90's, some Road Stage stores converted to 1 or 2-stages, or even Studio C by the late 90's. This is Tampa.
+_Игорёша _ It is part of the inspiration for the games, I suppose! I love the series, and it is one of the things that led me to think back on my memories of Chuck E. Cheese's.
Well, I can't speak for Scott. There definitely are some other places he could have found inspiration (Showbiz Pizza, for example). It's just that there are some similarities between the two.
this stage is now. a. two stage
Man the lighting was so much better back then! I hate how bright it is now a days..
+Joe Schiavo I haven't been to a CEC in years, but I have seen videos that were taken at CEC locations recently, so I know what you're talking about.
so true
we need showroom walls back and good showtapes
Awesome Adventure East yes!!
my local CEC is the one in Lexington, Kentucky, it used to have a 3-stage up until 2007 (i think, but i'm not sure)
Chuck E. Cheese music was so much better back then

Gabriela Del Rio I see! Thanks for the information. This stuff is really interesting to me, and I'm glad that others like it too.

FNAF? Animatronics?
+_Игорёша _ It is part of the inspiration for the games, I suppose! I love the series, and it is one of the things that led me to think back on my memories of Chuck E. Cheese's.
+BlueParadoxical Scott didn't base fnaf on cec
Well, I can't speak for Scott. There definitely are some other places he could have found inspiration (Showbiz Pizza, for example). It's just that there are some similarities between the two.
+BlueParadoxical I know that. Gravity falls cartoon episode had an animatronic show and was definitely based of RockaFire explosion
I saw that too! It was pretty interesting.
this is the origin of fnaf
Shut the hell up
