I know this is a year old, but you might be interested my video about "Compare FAKE Chinese Air Quality Monitor To "Smart Sensor" CO Monitor & "TemTop" CO2 Monitor". It is a comparison of a fake air quality monitor with two legitimate monitors. The monitor in this video looks very very close to the one I tested. I don't blame you for thinking it is not accurate because if it is like the one I tested, it is more than likely a scam device. I wish there would be an agency created that could put a stop to these fake monitors being sold to the public - because people can easily die relying on these scams...
@@freename I am sure you know this by now, but the off-white one in your video (the rectangle shaped one) is also a super huge fake. It only has one tvoc sensor inside. I am sure that they use algorithms with readings from the tvoc sensor to create random numbers to make all the readings jump around. Thanks for your reply - much appreciated.
I'll see how it compares to others soon. I know at least one model doesn't show the data on screen until it's settled. So far I've seen the CO2 reading go nearly to max (6000ppm) when I moved the one in the video into the kitchen where a pizza was being cooked in an electric oven. Seems unlikely that much CO2 would be created?
Fake sensor, just open and you will see what kind of sensor it’s using.(if any)
Why didn't you test it?
Because I'm not very good at things.

Thanks :) and yes. It's totally inaccurate and almost certainly a scam. It appears to be very sensitive to alcohol.

Give the poor thing a chance.
Some of this stuff is good.

Eek, this little device is far worse than I thought. New video will be out in about 24 hours.
