So many stories of tradesmen having their tools stolen. It's an absolute disgrace, taking a tradespersons tools away from them and effecting their livelihood. It's good to see the likes of hilti fighting on behalf of the hardworking tradesperson and helping protect their assets. What our industry has to invest in their tools like the construction industry?
Tell me about it, I just had half of my handtools stolen from my toolbox and all had my name deeply engraved into them in 2 places but some lower than dog*hit person didn't mind that at all.
So does it actually track the tool like a find my phone app or is it just to identify a tool that turns up and you don't know where it's from?

I think that all tool brands should do the same, i lost tools too or rather someone stole them. Tool tracking is absolutely a good idea.
May I suggest that the barcode or glyph be branded on the actual tool.
