My prediction for ARMIS was that Octavio and Ruze would be the degenerate ones while Goldbullet and Jurard would have to do the babysitting. Aside from Octavio I was completely wrong about everyone else. ;w; Ruze is the babysitter of this gen and it's hilarious.

My only greivence is Octavio's Photography kayfabe was exactly the angle I'd portray myself if/when I ever applied to Holostars.
I wouldn't get in, I can't sing. But my drive for photography would be cool!
Daisenpai Hanasaki Miyabi does travel vlogs periodically when he travels, it's one of his top signature streams that attracts viewers imo. You can find inspirations from each of the Holostars members if you prefer your content being something else other than video games or singing.
Uproar Minase Rio submitted his audition samples by making video game review streams and didn't reveal that he's a talented singer because he felt insecure about his singing voice.
Then there's Dez and Vesper, who had little to no background with singing or music at all. Magni's inspiration to join Holostars because he wanted to get into music. Vesper had no background in singing or music at all but he too was interested in learning and improve his singing.
To sum it up, you don't need to have any musical background to join, but if you do have the interest and drive in learning how to sing or have a foundation in music, I'd say go for it and audition. I mean, they are idols, right? Or if you don't want to sing, there's always rapping, but it doesn't hurt to try😅
i mean it's just part of Octavio's aspects but not entirely his main thing (which is being a singing puppeteer), so I think a Holostar whose entire concept is based on say a fantasy photographer character would still be accepted imo
