I recently got the 1st wave and Ryu is the only one with a v1 box. However, the skin looks like v2, as it is matte and the chest piece doesn't quite match the arms. The face I think it looks more like v1, as the lips are darker, but maybe I would need to compare to another one in hand. It looks good anyway.

I can’t help but feel that the designers are more influenced by Ryu’s SF3 redesign (black hair and darker skintone) than how he is portrayed in the earlier games in the series. In truth, his skin tone should be more in line with Ken and his hair should be a dark, reddish brown. This figure is still way too sallow looking unfortunately. Perhaps this is a mandated change by Capcom or just artistic liberty on the part of Jada. If they produce an Alpha line, hopefully we will get a proper red-haired Ryu with much lighter skin.
I have a similar suspicion regarding SF3's influence. That being said, the hair of the Jada figure does have some dark brown drybrushing/highlights, though sometimes it's hard to appreciate
I am used to the contrast skin tone of old factory Ryu and new factory Ken! They pop when they are displayed together! Btw 7:39 beautiful waterside view!!! Where is it?❤
Capcom have the final day in the colours used and wanted Ryu to have red gloves like in the og game art and games since, even tho his gloves are brown in game. Really annoying
I have the old Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li, all have flaking paint on their hair or their soft rubber clothes. I posed them just once to display, and the ankles can't hold up the weight of the figure and keeps tumbling on my cabinet. Some of the ratchet joints in the knees get loose because it grinds the nylon plastic, instead of making it friction fit like high-end Mafex or Figuarts. While, I still like them as they resemble the SF2 video game I play on my PS4, the quality and the hype seems to be overblown with many collectors glazing about it and not actually disclosing the issues and flaws with the product. I already have 2 replacement Chun-Li directly from Jada's warehouse, and the problem still exists.
It's a shame they didn't get the arm/hand guards the correct color of brown
That would have been nice.
I like the new one, but for my own opinion the SDCC Evil Ryu is better than the main.
I'd like to see that one in person

Jada and Juhn maybe getting The Mortal Kombat License in the future😊❤🎉
I'd love to see a line with the likeness of the actors form the games

Is there an indicator in the box that says it is version 2 or something?
@@rmcf3972 the back of the box should show one figure and not three
