You don't need words to tell a good story and this is a proof of that. Downtown was my first introduction to Godford and honestly I only clicked because of the gay and it just so happened that I'm also fond of this genre. Godford takes you to a a world of endless nights and strobe lights, which in essence is a truly non-binary place. The ethereal vocals perfectly contrasts the frequent use of rough and distorted synths that are both balanced by the gentle percussion and damp bass. It's something you can both chill and dance to. Im glad youtube recommended that music video to me otherwise I'd never discover their music💖
