Thanks for the explanation as to how many guesses one needs regarding the letters on the diagonal😊 that was insightful!

    Really nice solve!
I've seen a couple of people complain about the colloquial words showing up as answers. I personally feel they're fine as they are words that *have* made it into many dictionaries many years ago, and they've been in use (even in written form) for even longer than that. So when some solvers who are tripped up by them it's typically not because they don't know the definition of the words, but rather because they don't include them as a possibility. So I personally prefer including some colloquial words over instead having to include (even) more obscure words. I also prefer using them over the *other* option of having the weekly boards get more repetitive.

Yeah, I agree. I like having those words in there.

What a useful fact to know about the diagonal letters. Hopefully that gets helpful for you in the future.

Brilliant Weekly Squardle. I was down to my last guess before I started finding correct words. But I finished with 5 guesses to spare.
This week's bonus words: GLUTE, OUTTA (again), AGORA (it was on the original A-list but NYT removed it).
