It's about VSCode. There is an option called "Format on Save". When you enable it, it automatically formats your code whenever you save the file.

I use VIM. VIM aims to lower the usage of mouse. I can go up and down with j and k keys. I recommend you to use it but it takes lots of time to learn

i watch almost all your videos, as a programmer myself I would highly recommend you to use an external stylesheet, in case you create it and dont know how to link it which i highly doubt:

Considering that he programs this purely from scratch without any searching, he knows how to implement external stylesheet. It's just not being used to keep the simplicity of the whole page being in one HTML file rather than using external files which can add additional directories.

Yeah it looked a bit weird not being on a separate style sheet, but I guess it was for the simplicity of having it all in one space for the video. Still, helpful as I'm at the stage where i know the basics but I'm looking for projects to do on my own and for a portfolio.

@@syedrizwan2203 he is using visual-block mode, which is feature of vim/neovim. There is a vim/neovim plugin in vscode that he is using in this video. The default binding to enter visual block mode is . You then use hjkl/arrow keys to move the selection, and “I” to insert text. You’d have to learn vim to do this efficiently enough that it would make sense over just using multiple cursors in vscode, which I don’t know the key binding for. Something like alt/option click? Maybe there’s a binding for doing it with arrow keys? Not sure
