Wow, I’m surprised it took you this long to get to his Just Cause speed running videos. It’s honestly one of his most insane series, especially when he gets to Just Cause 2. Well…that and when he decided to take a trip to Finland for eternity.
I dont really enjoy 4 as much as the others mainly because destroying shit to liberate places is GONE like every town and even CITY has no objectives or items to destroy its just "play scripted mission in singular location-takeover entire region, multiple settlements by pressing a button on the map screen VS visit all towns, bases, citys, cause chaos, blow government propaganda and property to hell, liberate the people, repeat until region is free) i will say the sandbox element is better than 3 but i will never say the liberation is better because it just plain isnt all it does is make "major locations" feel pointless and empty (pretty cool dlcs though loved los demonos? And the agency thing)
@@christianschack9777 I forgot all about that game! Man I loved playing that when I was little, I think that game introduced me to red faction or vice versa, can’t remember which.
When I played 4, I'd purposely leave some places un-captured so that I could basically roleplay as a front line in WWII or something as either a land invasion, close air support, or a naval bombardment.
from what I remember Theodore Roosevelt worked out ran laps and so on because he had severe asthma. If i remember the story was that he would not be able to do anything and he went and started excersizing constantly to overcome his severe asthma. unsure if that's true but it's what I learned in school.
The mechanics in Just Cause 4 were as good as ever, with some cool additions too. Sadly it was the changes to outposts and progression that ruined it for so many people. Giving up the old and beloved chaos system for "Stand here, hold a button, shoot a couple waves of guys, walk over here, hold another button" is a choice I still can't wrap my head around.
Really cool thing is that the electric dam we share with Canada here in the US on the St. Lawerence River does something just like the Panama Canal to make it so ships can go from the ocean to the Great Lakes
Just cause 3 for me is basically my junk food game. I play it while listening to audiobooks and just go around liberating everything with the EDEN suit. Great times.
I agree about Just Cause 4! It was a bit of a deviation from the "Just destroy shit" format from just cause 3 but i think its a great game, especially if you indulge the side missions and stunts
please don't just stop on this one, its part of a whole like 4 part series of videos of mart speedrunning just cause and i've seen quite a few react channels react to one and then never watch the rest 💜
I'd recommend reacting to the "Odgrub vs Skyrim" trilogy by twokliksphilip (if he allows reactions), i honestly don't even like Bethesta rpgs that much but those fcking videos always make me wanna boot up that awful beautyful game again...
Thank you, it was awsome and i did 100 percent inkluding expansions.... and one of the last wich worth the money if you took the time to wait for the gold all inkluding Edition. Hope you know about the "mercenary" games
havent tryed the fourth one because i havent finnished the others (someday eventualy maybe one of these years ... ) but when i do i will comment again if its bad or good or meh(f - able)
And that my friends, is how a technicolour frog started the Just Cause 3 Speedrunning community

You are 100percent right but we know that the ultmate prototype was the mercenaries game.... damn just cause with airstrikes like moab😅

Little did Mart knew, the pain had just begun
(DVT)
This series is how I found Mart's channel and still some of his best imo.
Same here. I live for his style of editing and the people that inspired him

The effort put into this reaction is expected and very much appreciated.
First. Also love the channel, your reactions are always amusing and dont feel forced and for show. You also give great explanations when you do pause
oh my god, you are finally going through his JC3 runs
you will love these
LETTUCE BEGIN

He definitely did have asthma. And knowing what I do about Teddy it absolutely played a role in his lifestyle.
Is the fourth one good? Probably not. Did I enjoy it? Fuck yeah.

the canal uses a lot of fresh water each use. So if theres massive long drought either the canal can't be used or the locals die of thirst.

You are not the only fool to enjoy the 4th game. Whilst yes the story could've been better it was still insanely fun to mess around with.

This was perfection.
I like to take care of those 3 difficult wing suit challenges in the Montana province early on in the game.
His "From the Depths" series was his big break and is quite entertaining.
His videos, including this one, regularly contain references to it.
I also enjoyed the 4th one bro
Keanu reeves meme! I understood that & the bus reference!
I think the 4th one is underrated. Yes, 3 was better, but 4 is not nearly as bad as people say, in my opinion at least.
I want more history lessons!
ITS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD :DDDD

Teddy Roosevelt was the best president the US has ever had and I’m saying that as an American.
That’s also random

Early, nice.
