    Why is this free?
We don't want anyone paying for a course (built in 2020) that hasn't evolved with us over the last 4 years. Our thinking and explanations of these nuanced concepts are deeper and more impactful in our current classes, which means that it doesn't feel great looking back on these videos. Still, this course will absolutely set you up on the right path with the homework and structure, but always keep in mind that if you or your instructors aren't progressing forward, then something needs to change in your training.
Shepherd Development is committed to building skilled and responsible firearm owners. Any person taking part in this course must understand the universal firearm's safety rules and at all times respect the tool for what it is. The information and exercises in this program involve the use of real firearms. As such, there is an inherent risk and danger that a student accepts by partaking in this training and operating live firearms for dry or live-fire. Shepherd Development accepts no responsibility or liability for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this program. The information in this program is completed at your own risk. Know these rules and apply them accordingly:
    1. Always treat every gun as if it were loaded, P.R.O.V.E. it safe.
    2. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.
    3. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
    4. Always be sure of your target, the foreground and background.
    By wisdom and effort.
