The fastest cars in ya'lls class are so much faster than everybody else it's incredible. Like not even competitive. I don't understand how there can be such a wide gap in cars under the same set of rules.
Some of the gap is just better equipment. The other thing about these cars is setup plays a huge factor. These cars are more and more like late models each year without the benefits that help those late models handle. Some of the options that late models have with suspension and that wider tire the street stocks just don’t have which makes setup huge. If these things aren’t handling very well you’ll go back pretty quick.

Good job guys. I really enjoy the street stock class. It’s always good racing. What are the engine rules for the street stock class?
We run 602 crates in ours with 4 barrel carb. You can run an open motor with a 2 barrel as well.

What gear ratio you guys run at that track
I could be wrong, but I believe they have been running 6.00’s but Shane was looking at putting a 6.20 in
