My wife got me this radio about ten months ago. I was mostly interested in the airband as I like to take lunch occasionally and sit in my car at a local airport and watch the planes takeoff. From there, I discovered the SSB portions and that got me interested in finding out more. Not even a year later, I have my US Amateur Extra license and have done 100’s of POTA activations. I am a ham addict! All started with this fine little radio. BTW, mine did come with the power adaptor. Great radio!
My liking for this radio has increased over time. While it's bigger than the PL-330, it's a bit smaller than the PL-660/PL-880. I like the feel of the radio in my hand and the sharp display. I particularly like the look of the black version. The Line Out jack doubles as a Line In jack (selectable). Among my negatives for the radio is that ATS scans work only on FM and that a fair number of the radio's functions (including battery charging) are not labeled, but require special key presses that you would never know without consulting the manual. It also falls over more easily than any other radio I've owned.
I was going to make the Tecsun PL330 my first SSB radio, but I have and like very much the Mini and Traveler III. The Executive does almost everything so well, uses AA batteries and comes with an adapter that can charge batteries internally and will do the same for the Traveler III. The addition of the air band is most desirable and RDS is a plus. Will eventually get a very nice Tecsun.
Yes, it comes with the power adapter and it’s very important to remember that it’s reverse polarity so it cannot be used within any other power adapter.
I got this one and does not get enough love. Uses AA batteries instead of those 18650 usb batteries. I can't remember if it does with the power adapter because I never use them. The one downside and many other radios, is it can't keep time worth #####.. Easily loses 5 to 10 minutes a month.

I like the RDS feature. Looking forward to the videos.

It does come with the AC adapter which also works on the Elite traveler model which does not come with an adapter.

I like that you can name pages.
The HD version is waiting for release from Eton.
That's a masterpiece
Pity! Can't find it on Ali Express
Looks very nice

Better than the 750
The Eton Executive Elite HD is coming soon. Its picture is on the official Eton Website.
I like the AA battery part. I'd really like to hear about the very best radio that can be powered by AA. That's what I want in the bomb shelter.
