FOR THE DRIVERS IF ID:COM is Grey connect the tablet to kies and it will install the samsung drivers when done connect the tablet to odin then ID:COM should then turn blue and your good to go

I discovered that on the download site for twrp file, there is a comment saying one is to uncheck Auto reboot in Odin on the tab Option.
I didn't see that the fist time. So when I only followed you instructions on you video and booted up after flashing, I ended op in recovery mode(I got real sweaty!!!).
Second time I flashed the twrp file I followed the instruction on the web-site insted on the particular part and it worked!!! :-D
The instruction said:
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.

It's been a couple months now since I've bought this tablet and it is great. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS The tablet is responsive and runs well. There were a few times that the tablet did an awkward thing where it would detect pen on at all times and wouldn't register finger press, but it is usually fixed by closing and opening either the screen or app. This is highly likely due to my excessive use for drawing which caused this and wasn't really very big. As I mostly enjoy using the tablet for drawing (and some light gaming), I would comment from that aspect that there is definitely more accurate pressure and drawing using a PC device and drawing tablet, however i find the moveablity of the tablet more enjoyable to draw on. Like how you can physically rotate and move a piece of paper around or even draw casually on your bed.All in all, as a tablet it is good, and as a drawing device can be good depending on what you want from a drawing device. It is definitely good enough if you just want to use it to take notes. For typing though I can't comment on the keyboard as I did not get the keyboard.
Worked like a charm. Had a little trouble getting into TRWP. Home+ Vol up + power and as soon as it begins booting also had to press vol down. Got the tablet as a present for switching energy company. Its a fairly decent device. And now I can at least remove all the junk I don't need and only takes up memory. Thanks.

just wanted to let you know I used your video on my newer version 7.1.1 only difference I flashed magisk and it works great.TWRP installed and rooted.next step install lineage have to get larger sd card to backup then i'll watch your video on that.good job on the video's.so if you have a newer model don't worry this will work just fine.thanks for the video.

Way to go man. I did manage to accomplish this on lollipop 6.0.1. The problem I had was the frp lock. To bypass I just removed my google account, and proceeded with your process. Cheers.

Not sure if anyone is still doing this but if you are having problems getting into twrp you need to boot into it as soon as it flashes and restarts. Otherwise the orignal recovery replaces twrp

It's me again... I successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab E (SM-T561) with KingoROOT.
All I did was connect my USB cable to the tablet with USB debugging enabled and clicked START on the KingoROOT application. Then I just had to press accept once on my phone and it did all the magic.
I have now root access over my tablet and did not even lose any of my files.

Hey, you just install KIES - it's an official Samsung application. It automatically recognizes your device and installs drivers for it on your computer. :)

when to recovery mode and never got the TWRP Recovery in recovery mode, i think it went into the standard samsung recovery, everything up to this point has been spot on now i don't know what to do
hello, in the step after odin, pressing the combination (power key + volume up + home) does not bring up the Team win recovery project screen but I am in android system recovery.

I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab E (SM-T561) ... and I can't seem to get the twrp installed correctly.
I booted the phone into download mode successfully and went through all the steps within Odin also successfully, but when I reboot my tab into recovery mode I get the old recovery mode instead of twrp.
Any ideas? I've downloaded and selected the "twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t561.tar" for installation.
+phoenixfak I had the same problem. what he doesn't say is that when you press home, vol up and enter (the second combination) you ahve to let go of the home button (the one in the front) and keep pressing the enter and vol up buttons until twrp is booted up.
You mean I let go of the home key after the default recovery screen appears and keep holding the volume up and power button? Or before it appears?

little help here, Odin step Pass Cool, however, when restarting I dont get to the screen shown at 9:14. It shows me "Installing System Update Screen", then states no command" the rolls to "Andorid recovery" where it offers the options to update from SD card. I directed it to the SD card zip file but fails with error E: failed to verify whole-file signature. Update package verification took 0.2 s (result 1)
guys do not normally factory reset your tab e in the settings after this it will break so don't factory reset
Well i have same tablet as in video , smt560 based on android 4.4.4 , and process of instaling c. recovery failed avery time while odin says Pass . But after some time of braining i had to disable autoreboot in odin just like users of t560nu , and everything went fine. Twrp installed and superuser , root status fine. Thx :)

I am having a problem though. After I have disabled USB Debugging, I pressed AP and selected the TWRP file but when I pressed start I got a FAIL in the box. On my tablet's screen it says: "SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery" and "Custom Binary(recovery) Blocked By FRP Lock"
I haven't had much luck Googling so I figured I'd ask the Doctor himself.

I'm confused. Is a step missing ? When you hit start for the twrp file it shows it is connected to "My PC" not your tablet drive "D" etc shouldn't the tablet have been chosen before you hit start?

i finally rooted the tablet and i was using lucky patcher then it required a restart then it said custom binary blocked by frp bcuz after i rooted it i added my email without enabling oem unlocking now i cant turn on the tablet it keeps taking me back to the custom binary blocked by frp and i cant use the tablet

to the TWRP files for t-560 i found two files one twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t560
and one twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t560 are the same with different version,wich version i have to install?thanks

Yo Doctor, after I reboot the tablet with home+volume up+power, the screen that appears is different than yours, I have tried the flash for t560 and t560NU and the screen I see in your video is different... with odin its says it passes and everything, but I cant get to the menu I see on your vid... after reboot... help please!!! looks like the twrp wont load, the default boot screen loads...

I chose the correct twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t561, got a pass from Odin, but when trying to manually install SuperSu, which I took from the link on the description, it fails. I then went to Google Play and downloaded RootChecker, and no luck. Please help.
So when I go to install lineage I get an error. It says the flash is for sm-t560 and I have the sm-t377. Is there another version of the flash for sm-t377?

So all went well up until I went to install it then it said that it wasn't rooted. I had to go into the super Su installer app and when I click the play button and entered my Google account credentials, I rebooted it only to get a yellow triangle with an exclamation, and it says custom binary blocked by FRP

This triggered an FRP lock on my device and now it's stuck in ODIN MODE. I can't even power it down.
Why do we need to use Odin? Shouldn't we flash custom recovery through command prompt?

Try doing it again but don't select auto reboot in Odin after it's finished u will manually need to boot into twrp using the volume up home and power buttons
