I LOVED this poignant and moving tribute. I particularly enjoyed all of the guest stars, and seeing how their careers blossomed, and the beautiful body of work they all left behind. Thank You Gillian's Island for being there for my childhood.
@D Sullivan Yes, he played the Japanese soldier & he was also slated to play a pirate in an already scripted episode for the 4th season that never happened, as the show was abruptly cancelled so that Gunsmoke could keep on living, as it was dying in the time slot that it was in at that time. Sadly, Gilligan's Island was sacrificed for the sake of Gunsmoke. Frankly, I wish they'd have just let the chips fall where they may as far as Gunsmoke was concerned & left Gilligan's Island alone & let it have another season or more.
Now I understand, years and years later, why my 6th grade English teacher, Mrs. Becton, made our whole class memorize and recite before the class, the speech in a Shakespeare Play, "All the World's a Stage."
She was .. and still is a beautiful soul... she looked after Natalie Shaefer on her death bed.. really good oldschool woman... God Bless her Soul!! Oh... and she was such a pretty woman too... endearingly so...

We never had to worry about Terrorism, mass shootings, Covid 19, and the crap we have today back in the late 1900's.
Dawn Wells still looks beautiful, what a fun bunch of people
I love watching Gilligan's Island probably it was most good show ever as about 16 to 17 when I was watching that and watch it right up till the end of that got off the island so sad to see half of the cast of passed away my regards go to all of them.. 💖💖💖💕💜💋.
I had such a huge crush on the professor when I was a little girl LOL I missed this show ,
Loved giligans island as a child. Now im 55 it goes by fast. Fear God and obey . i love my fellow man so i warn them.
g MaytaR same age here....very noble expressions!
The word god for me is nothing more than a product of human weakness. "Albert Einstein"
@Cedar roofs You really should reconsider your thinking.
No one can beat father time. But Marry-ann/ Dawn Wells sure had the genetics to battle strong & defy aging for real long time..
I LOVED this poignant and moving tribute. I particularly enjoyed all of the guest stars, and seeing how their careers blossomed, and the beautiful body of work they all left behind. Thank You Gillian's Island for being there for my childhood.
Thank you for remembering all the guest actors as well as the main cast. RIP to many of them. Thanks for the laughs.
I’m 58 now and I had a mad crush on ginger, fantasies galore, thanks for posting to see how they have all faired
I am 58 also, but I always liked Maryann better. She was so cute.
Do you still have a crush on ginger?
Frida y only when adding it to a curry, better to grate than crush😄
DAWN WELLS!!!
Vitto Scotti was on everything from Bewitched, Hogan,s Heroes, Munsters to Who,s the Boss.
Flying nun, and even golden girls too.
@D Sullivan Yes.
BEST SHOW EVER
I remember watching many reruns of the show in the 70's. When the show started in 1964 I was 4 years old. I still love the show.
Oh, wow! I watched this show every day after school, in my child hood years. Made my heart sad to see that most have passed on. Thank you for sharing.
Damn only Dawn Wells and Tina Louise are the only surviving original cast members. R.I.P. to all the talented stars who have left us
I loved this show. I grew up watching. 😢😢
Marry Ann, what else needs be said.
She was .. and still is a beautiful soul... she looked after Natalie Shaefer on her death bed.. really good oldschool woman... God Bless her Soul!! Oh... and she was such a pretty woman too... endearingly so...
Always liked the mary Ann character the best. Tina always thought she was better than everyone else that’s why whenever they would a reunion or anything about guligan’s island Tina was never there
"Marry" Ann? Does she know about this? ;)
Mike Smith You heartless bastard! You left out Mrs Howell? Was she supposed to just watch?
The music that accompanies your videos is perfect: a combination of eerie, sad and mellow. Thanks for doing these videos!
I was young back then too. Now I'm 65. Still working and enjoying life with my wife of 40+ years married. She's a real sweetheart!
Excellent.
I loved all of these actors, such fond memories of them and my childhood.
We are like the flowers on a field, we blossom and give radiance of beauty. Then we wither away to be planted again, somewhere in the Universe.
I hope I get "planted" in a better place. This planet sucks. The scenery is great but the people are a holes.
That’s a nice sentiment. Unfortunately someone else in another part of the universe is eventually going to see us withered.
Mark Garduno I like this.. keep this for my funeral .. of course enjoy while living..
Well said! I will remember this. Thank you. 🌈🙂
Clay Lapointe why is there an a hole in every bunch?
I can’t even watch this show without crying knowing that most of the cast has passed away 😭 rip ❤️
Hopefully, they are in a better place.
Wow...!
Didn't even know Kurt Russel was on Gilligan's Island...!
Thanks for this, World Review.
Sadly, Dawn Wells , passed away today, Dec. 30th 2020 in Hollywood, CA from complications of covid19. She was 81. You will be missed, Donna. RIP...⚘
Thats fucking heartbreaking. She passed just before the new year! I never watched this show but thought I'd check this video out since I heard Dawn had passed.
May she rest in peace.
She turned 82 last October, a little over two months before she passed away.
Best show ever. God bless the living and the deceased.
Ginger had style and such charm, loved her glamorous ways when I was a little girl!
Tina Louise is the only one left.
