Cosmos are such happy flowers. They make the very best of their situation by blooming more when the soil is less rich. This was my first introduction to a Kalimba when the video was new. It released right around the time my daughter was born and it helps her sleep. She loves the cat. Thanks for making this. It's raining extremely hard rn where I live, and my anxiety started going up and I started shaking. I tried listening to different types of music to calm my shaking down a bit so I wouldn't here the heavy rain, but nothing was really happening. I saw this on my recommendations and clicked on it since it was asmr and music, and the peaceful notes helped my shaking and calmed me down. I'm still shaking just a little bit but not as bad as before, but thanks again.

One of my fav songs by Yiruma! It's interesting to see it played on the kalimba..... Also, editing suggestion, many think its Maybe, which makes sense considering it's hopeful melody, but Yiruma intended it to be May Be, because in Korean 5월에 이루다 was the true meaning. To translate that, it is "make it happen in May" or "it will happen in May".

I need your love. I want you to know that I really love you. Hope you hear my confession direct to your heart.
Allow me to tell you the story about what this song means to me, because of the role it played in a dnd campaign with my character, Frim. (apologies in advance for the mini novel) Frimelda "Frim" Teyrin was a middle aged mother of three, and also happened to be a retired member of the region's most prestigious and far reaching assassin's guild. She retired because she met the one person she has ever loved, got married, and had the aforementioned children. Other than him, she would not and hasn't ever loved romantically. But he was the one to chip away at her mask. With him, there was safety, love, fulfillment. Things were happy. Until they weren't. Unbeknownst to everyone in the village they had resettled in, a cult of Abyssal Demon worshippers had been plotting to open a gate to unleash their armies onto the world. The poor village never stood a chance. Frim and her husband Lehric, both ex-adventurers, fought to try and escape, using their home as a safe area until they could make the trek to the town borders and get away. But Lehr was ambushed while defending the home, and was carried off, and in the whirling chaos, something struck the house, causing it to collapse. Right on top of Frim, who held the youngest baby tightly to her to shield the infant from the debris. The two oldest children ended up even less fortunate, being separated from their mother - their last bastion of safety - and were snatched up, being torn viciously apart in front of Frim as she could only watch through gaps in the rubble and try to stifle the baby's cries to keep them from being found, underneath the rubble that pinned the poor mother's legs, by the invading forces. She would eventually black out from the pain, her last memory being the sound of voices. Paladins and cleric from the next city over. "Oh good" she thought. "Maybe my child will be able to make it after all. May... be......." When she woke up, she was in the hospital of that rescuing city, and her last remaining child was safe. But that guilt of failure was something that she couldn't bear to carry anymore, and she sent the child away to be raised by a distant relative of her husband's. In the following decade, she would slowly regain use of her legs through countless days of physical therapy and magical healing. Now she had a mission: Find the remainder of the cult, and it's leader, and wipe them off the face of all the realms. She would eventually be discharged and rejoin her guild, where the current adventure meets her at. Eventually, after spending a fair bit of time bonding with her new adventuring group, their journeys take them to the formerly decimated town that was the source of all of her heartache. And we find out that a demon has been inhabiting an old abandoned mine near the town. Which brings us to tonight's campaign After clearing out a population of gnolls and a Gibbering Mouther, we discover that this is where the fiend goes to recover - where it calls it's nest. And in a pit in the back of the dungeon, Frimelda finds a music box. A very unique, small music box. One that Lehric had made himself for the kids. And it clicks. The demon was Lehric, corrupted by the Abyssal energy he had been dragged away to be Turned with. Here in this very cave. We wait and set up traps to try and catch the fiend. Once we've contained him in a room sealed with blessed salt lines, Frim starts playing the music box. (this song) It brought back floods of memories to the now-demon Lehr, debilitating him and allowing the party to restrain him further. After some pleading that she can find a way to fix him, he wept that he just wanted peace for her, and that he needed to die with his humanity while he clung on to the last shred Frim had reawakened within him. She cradled his face in her hands. Looked into his eyes. Kissed him. And gave the order for the paladin to cast the final Sacred Flame. Her last words to him as his demonhood burned away in the pale light of the holy fire, exposing his human form for the last time, his dumb half smirk smile across his lips as her words echoed. "I've never once forgotten about you. Wait for me, ya hear? I'll keep fighting until we can meet again." He fell to his knees, crumbling to a fine, white ash. She followed him to the ground shortly after, hunched over the remains of the only love she's ever had. And wept Openly With the wailing mourn of only someone who's loved and lost like she has.

She cradled his face in her hands. Looked into his eyes. Kissed him.
And gave the order for the paladin to cast the final Sacred Flame.
Her last words to him as his demonhood burned away in the pale light of the holy fire, exposing his human form for the last time, his dumb half smirk smile across his lips as her words echoed.
"I've never once forgotten about you. Wait for me, ya hear? I'll keep fighting until we can meet again."
He fell to his knees, crumbling to a fine, white ash.
She followed him to the ground shortly after, hunched over the remains of the only love she's ever had.
And wept
