"Chicken diarrhea weld" and "Throw it in the jnk pile if it doesn't work" had me rolling on the floor laughing! Thanks! Good thoughts and prayers for Man's best friend!
Hope the pup is healing well, thanks for sharing your ranch life with us! learn a lot from ya! Much appreciated! Happy thanksgiving 🍁🦃 🍁 To the entire ranching Sodak family! 👋
Very creative fabricator, and thanks for helping me keep my man card, by showing its not always prefect the first time. Wishing your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! Stay safe
Just a trailer jack? Ain't nothin' "just" on this channel. Everything is somethin' at Sodak! Interesting! Happy Thanks Giving to the Sodak Ranch Family, God Bless.
For a minute I thought I was watching the old Red Green show. 😊Resourcefulness is a important skill to survive. A little fun in customizing your own patent.
As an older (76) former ranch hand I appreciate your honesty and showing that you don’t have to buy new. Everyone should have an inventory pile outside the shop
You say you hate winter. I don’t blame you. Where I live in Queensland, Australia, the winter temperature goes down to about 10°C. How awful is that??? Summer average is about 32°. Of course it goes lower or higher by ten degrees on occasion but very seldom. Your innovative mechanics are a pleasure to behold!!
Another awesome video Matty Hope milly is doing ok and recovering Glad the maths are doing so well for you Dane and wishes you continued success and the best of luck into the future Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Was thinking since you are drilling out the shafts, it would be good to have extra pins in like a tool box for when you use this trailer, and have things like extra pins in the box if ever one is needed,, along with different odds and ends like straps for tie downs
Is there another way for Dane to fasten the mats together that would be faster than nuts and bolts? Some type of rivet machine maybe? Love the videos! Especially the farmer way of creatively fixing things on a budget. I think a lot of us can relate.
Should have pre heated that metal up while you had the torch there before welding. Would definitely have helped in the welding process with penetration depth
Hey Dane is there no programs down there ie. grants for recycling (upcycling) tires, most places charge environmental levy on tires so you should qualify. DEWALT you need to sponsor MATTGYVER over there
Matt ,do you suppose Amazon ships that jack with grease in the body on the jack screw? By asking that I mean ...do you think a zerk in the top plate of the jack would be wise? Oh, and the VERY best to Milly! Also, I got a replacement knee on Monday, so I know the importance of good joints! And some last syllables of yammer--build a manual crank for dead battery time.
Hey Matt, those transmissions were cheap until you posted this video and I don’t think I seen you check the oil in that tranny. It’s got to be a blast working in the snow. Been there done that
Prayers and healing for Millie

Nice idea to speed up crank time on the trailer jack. Glad to hear Millie will be alright. You have some great dogs.
Matt , it really helps to clean all of the rust and paint off so you have a clean surface to weld on . Enjoy your videos !!!

Love the idea put pin in it and might have to throw it in the junk 😂😂😂that was hilarious
Good thing you found something smaller than an F350 transmission!

Might I suggest tacking the socket to the mower shaft? Might eliminate socket hunting. But you know I kinda don’t know. Thanks for the video.
What ever to you mean hunting for tools is how I spend my leisure time. 😂😂
You already have too much leisure time.
You're right with cold, gloves and production.

We call ours Gorilla welds here, ugly but strong! 🤣🤣Great idea on transmission for gear reduction.
matt. With all your inventions you should go on shark tank .
I suppose you already sell the side walls to farmers who need to hold the tarps down.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Early for the vid today!! Love seeing a ranching sodak vid!
As Matt would say Nice
Should have pre heated that metal up while you had the torch there before welding. Would definitely have helped in the welding process with penetration depth
Woulda found an old socket to weld on to that shaft to fit that nut, just to make it alittle more easier and simple to take on and off if need be
Have you ever tried sprint car tires for the mats?
