GIRL!!! YOU totally nailed this kit and made some gorgeous vintage looking cards using the products in the kit. Mine arrived the other day but I hadn't yet played with it beyond labeling the stamp set. All thanks to you I now know what to do to get some FABULOUS vintage cards. I always know I can count on you to shine an inspirational light on my crafting/cardmaking journey. That gilded splatter was the icing on already rich cakes which in this case was cards. I LOVE these cards !!! ❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you rainbowed the collage strips, and trimmed them with the scalloped die! Cards like these are my fave from you! Thanks for the inspiration :)
These cards are so my style and I just ordered this card kit I usually order a couple times a year but have to have this one. cant wait to make these cards
Lovely! I wish I had watched your video earlier as I was making some Tim Holtz paper cards and struggled for a bit! You make it look effortless and beautiful!! 💖TYFS!
Nichol, I love these ideas. I always struggle with what to do with pattern paper and ephemera. I have so mich that just sits there. It looks like everything could easily be used in this kit. Thank you❤
I wasn't sure where you were going with cutting up the collage strips as they are already a collage. But, you made great cards with the rearranged strips! Thanks for taking us through the whole process. Your cards are beautiful!
It hasn't ruined my brushes however I don't use my brushes for watercoloring (I am not much of a painter). I think each artist should make their own determination based on how they use their tools.
When Tim Holtz first released the collage strips I wanted to love them but it turned out that for me they are the craft supply equivalent of a pebble in my shoe. Just can’t get my head around them. 😔 I liked your subtle rainbow strips. I also liked that one could speed up the process by making monochromatic cards and matching the strip color with the background paper. My favorite part of this design was the butterflies. They look so good. My favorite card of the batch is the green butterfly on the pink card. I’m confused though about the timing of the video. It’s the July kit? There’s still 9 days left in June. And it’s almost 2 weeks till the 4th. Will you get a new manicure 💅🏽 before the 4th? Maybe it’s just me, but my nails would grow out enough to be noticeable before the 4th. Cute mani though. 😊
Oh Nichol! Your cards inspire! TY!🎉❤😊

Quick question - does the foundry wax ruin your brush or does it wash out fairly easily? Looove the cards!

Tell me the brand and name of the scallop edge die you use. I love it.❤️ 7:38
