Battle of Haditha Dam | Little Birds Rescue Overwhelmed Rangers and Delta Operators

The US Army Rangers and Delta Force operators assaulting Haditha Dam were facing an enemy force much larger than their own when the AH-1 Little Bird helicopters of the 160th SOAR arrived with fire support to assist the forces on the ground.

They train guard dogs in Haditha. A dog came flying around a corner....and jumped into my arms. It was a puppy. That was the best moment of that War for me.
