In Pico Rivera CA, they just added new trampolines and it is not a 2.0 building and I was so surprised. 😮

Opened 40 years ago (December 1983) with a Balcony stage, got the C stage porch Facade in '89, Got a 2-stage in '93. Where the party room is now, used to be a room with a big screen TV (right where the video wall is now as a matter of fact) in the spring of '97 the Show Room moved to the old TV room and the old Showroom became an expanded Game Room. the old show room had 20 party rows and prior to the 2.0 remodel, this one had 14.

Are you sure the showroom moved? There's a video of this place in around 1993 or 1994 and the 2 stage is in the same place as it's always been with the PTT flags and clapper board. I've been there in 1997 and it even had the CEC Pizza sign still.

The showroom did indeed move. The video you mentioned is of the showroom when it was in the front of the building. You can see the door/hallway to the right of the stage that led to the arcade in the back of the building. The old ski ball was actually where the video screen is now. This is my childhood Chuck e cheese.

@@aitrus21 when we remodeled in 1993 and got the 2-stage, was that also when the cut a hole in the showroom wall to make a second entrance to the game room?

Looks like I saw the Cutie Car, Noah’s Ark and Barney with his train. They can all be found at the Tyler, Texas location.

The guy who owns San Jose and Redding used to own this store.

although by the time the Franchise version of Fairfield closed, all he had left was SJ (that was the big reason Fairfield closed, to keep San Jose afloat during the pandemic. and actually the other store the guy used to own was Chico.
