So true and confirmation! After I started telling those I knew about my healing journey from narc abuse. Like you mentioned, "you would think a person would be happy". But it's their response (and no response from some is a response too). That had me really evaluate these pple, fam and friends. God opened my eyes to this and I started cutting people off. But it's honestly crazy how it be those closest to you that are happy when you are down. But once God starts to raise you up they refuse to celebrate with you. Unless, they can find a way to benefit off your success smhh.
