  • Leading 3D Home Design Software provider Chief Architect used AMD Advantage Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 7 notebook computers to power the most advanced capabilities for GPU-accelerated rendering and virtual reality in their booth at the 2023 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. This video offers a quick tour of these software features on these laptops, with a bonus demo of a Sonnet eGFX Thunderbolt 3 eGPU connected to the Legion 7 Gen 7 via USB4.

What laptop would you recommend today to run x15 and multi task. Die hard Mac user but I need really good ray tracing and from what I’m told the M3 won’t be as good as a pc.

Thanks for watching @cottagekeeper. There are a number of factors that impact laptop selection, but most important are probably screen size and battery life. For the absolute highest performance, the 18" www.dell.com/en-us/shop/gaming-laptops-pcs-and-accessories/alienware-m18-gaming-laptop/spd/alienware-m18-r1-amd-laptop/useahctom18r1amd09 with Ryzen 9 7945HX and Radeon RX 7900M is an absolute performance beast. For a more portable and longer battery life option the 16" Asus TUF A16 Gaming Edition is a great choice: www.microcenter.com/product/670304/asus-tuf-gaming-a16-advantage-edition-fa617xt-cs94-16-laptop-computer---sandstorm_Hatchfeed. A strong 14" option is the Asus Zephyrus G14: rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-zephyrus/rog-zephyrus-g14-2023-series/. But for the utmost in portability, the combination of a Ryzen 7040-series laptop using integrated graphics for design and light rendering and an eGPU with desktop graphics for heavier ray tracing offers the best of both worlds. This thin and light 16" Acer Swift Edge 16 offers a great value and plug-and-play compatibility with eGPU: www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-swift-edge-16-16-3-2k-120hz-oled-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-7840u-with-16gb-lpddr5-memory-1tb-pcie-gen-4-ssd-olivine-black/6546242.p?skuId=6546242. Hit me up with any additional questions.

I’d rather see more application ability for VR. Gently I advise revising the name of the video. Decent but not enough VR information. Thanks
