You received $5 millions U.S.D for this community from bank inter American. You should do better than that. Running water for the community is the first necessity and not wells. The plastic pipes won't caused more than $100000 dollars. Septic toilets not latrines. Built an agricultural part where some members of the community can make their own food to sell in the community and in port au prince, buy 3 small motor boats ($15000) for people to go fishing and sell fish to the community and a bus ($50000) to transport kids to school in Leogane transport people to port au prince to sell their goods and return home, a market. All those things will create enough jobs for the community of 300 houses. Those houses don't have a value of even $1 millions where's the $5 millions? Carter and habitat of humanity should be accountable to the community. This is not a charity they are doing to the community. They were responsible to rebuild a better community with $5millions dollars given to them, and they failed and should be accountable for that. It's not about the people didn't have before anything better is okay. It's about a money that was given to build a community that was stolen by the Carter and habitat for humanity. By the way, those houses could look better or bigger with the same amount of money they built them, it's really depend of the racist people mind of the people that I have built them. All the houses suppose to be at least 2 bedrooms with a living room because they were built for families not for one elder or couple. Just saying.
