I only learned that lego has expanded a ton from the stuff they had 7 years ago when I was still into them. This new lego plant, bug, building sets are really cool. A month ago I got a lego cabin for my birthday, it was cool to see how lego has changed with the set.
You’re right about buying books from Amazon. I’ve bought quite a few only for them to arrive with the cover curled or bent in some way. I even had a box completely ruined for a box set 😢 but then it felt silly to initiate a return because it was just cosmetic damage.
I used to work at Amazon. People just throw the books in the bin if they don't come out wrapped from the conveyor belt. A lot of it also has to do with how the company sends it, Amazon just places them in boxes they don't wrap stuff for you.
Don’t feel silly just initiate the refund, they rip off others without hesitation so don’t feel like you shouldn’t do it. At the end of the day you purchased a product and it wasn’t as described since it’s damaged.
what a coincidence! just yesterday my close friend got me an orchid. what a cute coincidence. :) does anyone have any tips on how to care properly for these? i never had plants before and i am afraid i will kill it 😔
You’ll find more in-depth resources on google but the basics: make sure the potting mix is appropriate. Orchids have aerial roots, so regular soil doesn’t work. Peat moss, coconut core, bark and such are used to make potting mix that has nice drainage. Orchids love moisture, but be careful of overwatering in the winter. They thrive with about 6-8 hours of indirect sunlight every day, but shouldn’t be exposed to direct sunlight. If you’re keeping the orchids in the original pot, make sure to periodically check if it’s not getting too big for its container. Lastly: don’t be afraid. The little darlings are not as hard to care for as some people say

I work at amazon, i damage any book that comes to me looking dirty/gross. Anything i wouldnt want to recieve is going back to the sender
