The hover rig tears them up too easily. Here's a tip. Texas rig them and add 1/16 drop shot weight to the hook. Let the slide on the hook. Unbelievable action. Crushed them Aeroflex using that set up.

I mostly fish a clear water ex-coalmine lake in northern IL. That clear lake hitch is gonna SMASH this lake. So excited to throw that color.

Yes….the Keitech spiders are essentially finesse hula grubs.

The Ika is an underrated flipping bait in my opinion.

@northeastbassfishing1501 an older gentleman I met while fishing at Manasquan Reservoir, pretty much only will fish with the Ika or a rattle trap.

I haven’t thrown the Ika a lot in recent years, but it’s definitely a quality bait. The last two years I’ve thrown the trap more and more.
