Its not worth removing glas/ windscreens on them to sell as Spare parts ? Also what do you do with the trailers,( assuming those come with the boats going to be demolished?) Regarding the foam and water problem ,not only does it weight down the boats , In colder climates the foam expand when freezing if its water logged. Had a hatch on a sailboat soaking water into the foam between inner and other grp layers, totally deformation it so it could not close properly.
I have pulled out windows before and have tried to sell them and to me. It’s really not worth my time to stockpile a ton of stuff like that. Yes, it may be worth money, but to me it’s not worth a time in measuring and dealing with stupid people asking me 100 questions and then at the end, not buying it anyways, Engine and outdrives and trailers I will sell, but there are so many different varieties and styles and length of boats. I can’t keep everything.
I fully understand, no" blame" intended on my part ,keeping specialcized glass pieces for different model on shelf requires packing if the panels to avoid the glass breaking*. And also keeping track of what models and makes it's from. Too bad people are not committed to buying the stuff, when you put time and effort into answering questions sending photos etc. * (Hardened glass is very sensitive, if you hit the edges/ corners.)
The three boats that you saw were all rotted out one was a dumped boat that we had to tow away. The big boat was completely rotted away and was missing the exhaust manifold. The red boat needed full restoration Not worth it to me I only fix boats that are in decent condition
@@johnathanpeyton I heard you say something about the foam absorbing water if the boat just sits. Hence damaging the boat. Great content by the way! RUclips’s algorithms seriously needs to start pushing your channel. I didn’t know you existed until Andre from Jack of Haul Trades had a video of you.

This may be a stupid question, but why don't you fix up the boats and resell it?
