In his studio an astronomer is writing, while a little demon keeps bothering him; a goddess appears with a crescent on her forehead and she sends the demon away. The magician draws on a blackboard the terrestrial globe and the Moon, when the drawing is complete, the satellite is placed by its own will on Earth and it’s transformed into a child with the Sun as its head. Then the magician takes a small telescope, but this turns into a rolling pin and it ends up in his eye; he is going to sit down, but his desk disappears and he falls to the ground; he tries to sit down and the chair vanishes, letting him fall to the ground again. The magician decides to use a huge telescope: he tries to observe the Moon, but this materializes in all its greatness in the study, its immense mouth swallows the telescope and some objects, then it spits out two small dancing Pierrot that the magician sends back inside. After throwing some objects at the satellite, the magician sits down and a beautiful girl appears on the moon, the man tries to lean out of the balcony to embrace her, but he’s hindered by a statue in armor: the magician tries to attack it, but the giant face of the moon reappears, it swallows him and then it spits out his remains. The little demon appears again, but the goddess chases him away, she takes the remains of the magician, puts them on the chair, and gives him back life. At last, the magician finds himself in the study sitting at his desk.
