Wow. Who'd have thought. One of the roughest parts of Leicester and hardly a white in sight. I'm really struggling to put myfinger on what makes it so bad. Can anyone help?

We all know the reason why our country has become a filthy foreign cesspit in many places but we're not allowed to say it!

I lived in Leicester during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, a very safe and lovely place then. Sadly it’s changed into a shithole like other parts of the country.

I was raised here when it was multicultural my neighbours were Spanish the owners of a hotel opposite were English and on the other side lived a Sikh family with our Caribbean family in the middle. I remember once throwing sand on the Sikh families Chapaties as they cooked in the kitchen through the window I must have been about 4 or 5 years old I got a good hiding from my parents.a lot of people are going to hate me for this but even as a child of immigrants I feel the fact that people don’t want to embrace the culture of that country terrible. That mosque used to be a cinema haven’t been there for more than 30 years it looks like there are Mosques everywhere. I used to sing hymns before school at Uplands infant school and Christmas carols at Christmas do they still do that? You can’t live in a country and not adopt its culture and way of life in my opinion. But anyway who am I to speak.

These houses were once of the working class, lovely Victorian architecture. Now it's a ghetto, drugs, crime, disused cars. I used to park up here - my car was keyed within 3 months.
