Just finished ‘The Sun Sleeps’ and it’s crazy how similar your reaction feels to mine initially. I probably should have mentioned the fact that it’s not really a balls to the wall banger EP. But when the nuance starts to resonate with you and you hear it a couple times, it’s truly one of the best pieces of art you’ll hear in the metalcore scene(imo of course)

My favourite is still The Sun Sleeps
The riff in the chorus just tickles the perfect emotional spot for me
I love both songs, but for me chorus in 'As if it never was' is more interesting

The Sun Sleeps was the first song I ever heard by Invent Animate. The riff in the 2nd half of the chorus is what hooked me. Saw them live the other day and they played As If It Never Was.
They have a brand new album out tomorrow (HEAVENER) and its incredible

Greyview is still one of my favorite albums, not a bad song on it
Greyview is their best album no skips even with fireside being a shock
To think Greyview is already kinda a masterpiece, but Heavener will surely top it tomorrow!

The chorus riff in The Sun Sleeps is what hooked me to this song. You can actually FEEL it. It's like soul touching
I enjoyed so much your reaction. You'll never go wrong with these guys and its great that the new album will be released tomorrow 17th.
STEVE! Their new one is one of their best by far. Without a whisper is a 10/10 for sure.

When I found this EP, it was a feeling of perfection. All the elements I love in a song were on this EP, arranged and mixed exactly how I like it. That is rare.

That riff at 3:52 is just so catchy, gets in your head
now that ive heard heavener, as if it never was is still their best song hands down!
Heavener is IMMENSE. I'm not familiar enough yet to be picking favourites, but there is so much to love with so many of this band's songs. Epic.
Their record Greyview is currently probably my favorite metalcore record I've ever listened to. It's flawless and worth every second of its timespan to listen to
Let's see if the brand new record Heavener (which comes out tomorrow March 17th 2023) will surpass it:)
