They made the petard cause xbox is bugged and the castles dont fire at walls when you attack walls with them. I reported this months ago and the support person said thats the game working as intended 🎉

damn i think the play was to attack the goth guy immediatley and destroy his barracks before he cud spam. saracens was too all in to deal with you even tho camels/mammys counter ele arch/ratha, and roman infantry dies to ratha/ele arch in the late game.
Saracenes can start build its first castle at 13:00 (approx.). The second one is not needed - towers are better. + a bundle of mamelukes, some light cavalery from his allies to couner monks and skirms/archers to counter pikes and all rest, and that's it - the game would be over.
They won, but they could have ended it much sooner. For one, they should have blocked the side gate and contested Hera's presence outside the gate. Silver should have come in earlier. I was expecting a huge army considering he was never hit and took so long.
In arena in dark age I sacrifice 1 villager just to make several outposts. So I can see a forward rush coming etc. I always play turks and fast imp and wreck lol
When I first heard of Xbox players on AOE I legit thought it was a meme or joke. But it's apparent that you can play pretty decent level on it, has to be super hard with the controller. gg
Turks feel tough cause they have no trash except hussar. If it gets late and gold is an issue Byz trash or bohemian halbs feel good. Plus byz have strong castles and a good fast imp. I feel like bohemians would be best though, with chemistry in castle age so you can start HC production on the way up to imp
They played well. You need to play them again but be allowed to pick a civ of your choice. I have faith that in a rematch you'll beat them. You're just too good.
As always problem is that you havent any type of power unit for the post imp play. Thats the key for this 1 vs many players games. IStill I dont get how they can play this good on controller :D
Xbox doesnt always means they are playing with a controller, people who bought game from Windows store on their PC also have the same logo. I dont see any difference here tbh

No; the problem is that he has no answer to Scorpions + mass infantry, if they get to the point where they can spam that he just loses, and the saracens bought enough time for that. Roman scorpions are insane lategame, they are *really* hard to kill cost effectively even with bombard cannons and bengali don't have those. (Onagers are too vulnerable to all the infantry/light cav running around).
He pit a castle down but the castle guy went 1tc 3x castle barely any military into imp. Only way to hit imp faster would be not booming or building no military... and its a 3 on 1 with walls. They had a gameplan and they executed it, well.
The pain of being castle dropped in feudal made me want him to comeback so badly

They were actually playing as a team, which was nice to see.

I think 1vX's are a whole lot more difficult in arena than open map. Unless opponents are really bad there's almost no chance.

They play modified version of the game. Eco is basically automatic, you just set eco priority and villagers are auto created and auto go to work.
95 % of top 100 don’t do auto eco

I don't think Hera realizes that xbox has mouse and keyboard support. Most xbox AOE players me included use mouse and keyboard lol
