We fall so far behind in a 2 vs 2 base situation due to mass Thunderclap harass, so I sneakily take a 3rd base to try and recover...
FollowGrubby good game grubby. Are those gaming chairs super comfortable? I’m thinking of purchasing one.
FollowGrubby Can you please tell me how can human deal with such situation? Obviously flying machines are gonna get wrecked by one single aoe cos it can hit machines now, rifles take a lot of dmg from aoe too

Fall behind? Since the moment he allowed the first expo he was dead. Especially after the failed zeppelin harass. Any good human would send a footman to scout to prevent FE shenanigans. Against any decent player FE is impossible on this map.
@@heartbreakmanNo1 Blizzard hits Air units. Carrion Swarm was always hitting air units but just since recently it started damaging mechanical units as well.
It must be absolutely terridying to be a lone Footman surrounded by a Dreadlord, and Acolyte, and some reanimated creep skeletons.
Seeing grubby to lose 4 ghouls at once was so odd and satisfying

Because in basically everything except 1v1 fiends>ghouls. Dk, Lich fiends and later destros/wyrms is simly too good to pass up on.

Infernals really smash them buildings don't they?
They do Chaos damage, so 100% damage to every armor type. The only defenses a unit can have against this are be out of range (or in the air and not Webbed), be Ethereal, be Invisible and not detected, or be Invulnerable.
@mine headed freak Chaos damage does 100% damage to divine armor as well. Not that this appears in multiplayer games, but it does occasionally appear in the campaigns.
Interesting conversation in the chat at the time should DL dps and tankyness be similar in style to DH?

DL offers 2 hard cc abilities while DH doesnt offer any cc +DL has an aura
both of those means DL is a very powerfull support hero already, giving him DH levels of dps (and DH is the 2nd highest base dps hero btw behind only BM) would be absurd
@@gregsmw that's about what I saw mentioned. Also strength makes supports way better off than agility. Plus abilities right now are very buffed. Still wont get first picked over the more efficient DK. I dont see a way they could. The new sacrificial knife certainly wont do that as it boosts dk more.
He is good enough. DL has one of the best or maybe even the best ults in the game. If you get it to lvl 6 you almoust win the game for sure. His sleep spell helps him creep fast and some hero surround kills add to his fast leveling. Because of that - he is very strong if played solo. Just get him to lvl 6 and gg. But having 3 heroes has huge benifits - more inventory and spells. And sadly dl is not as good when sharing xp. You wan't him to get lvl 6 fast. This dilemma is why he does not get picked oftentimes in my opinion.
@@anthonytonev1357 yeh I know grub loves malganis and I like dl too wish he could filer into 3 hero choice better. Maybe that would make him a bigger choice. Being able to fast expand is an inventive alternative though. But it does mean when you scout it you automatically know the counter and what their macro is.
@@anthonytonev1357 Not a bad idea to get 2nd and maybe 3rd hero when Dread Lord gets Level 6, though, provided that the map still has enough Creeps. Grubby has occasionally done this.

What's the point of building a second necropolis at the expansion?
It's very cheap (maybe just 70 gold more than a ziggu) and allows you to tp to it and to create acolytes faster in case of harass, and you dont have to make your acolytes run across the map to mine:)

nice game! When I saw the siege engines I was immediately thinking of panda, was there a reason not to get a 2nd hero in that situation other for memes with high lvl DL? (which I suppose wasn't even the intention anyways)
Björn Lepistö i think low level panda is worse than infernal which grub was close too, plus is also ground unit so probs wont survive with mountain king around

hey guys, im trying to learn to play with the orc they are my favourite. So im getting better at hero controlling but most of the times grubby mentions walkers but i always use shamans for bloodlust, to power up the grunts and raiders ( my plan is usually to rush with pillage in order to keep up the resource and improve those units as much as i can) of course im total noob so dont expect much but can someone tell me why is it better to use walkers instead of shamans/docs?
I can't say with any authority. but spell stealing units/dispellers are very common and easy to tech into. shamans are very weak on their own and the investment for BL can usually be a complete waste of resources (not always ofc but I'm trying to keep things general here) walkers on the other hand have a better dispel than shamans and a spamable hard to remove debuff that makes your whole army hard to kill (spirit link) and they do all of that without requiring an investment in rank upgrades. so in everything bar the mirror they're usually just a better investment. but again I'm being very general here and my understanding is not super high level, hopefully someone who plays more than me can give a stronger, more definitive insight :)
It’s all situational. U can see that grubby in most of his videos is trying to adapt to different scenarios and overcome the opponent. I don’t think there’s 1 universal strategy to win everything
Generally as orc blademaster your lookin to use net, hex and hero damage to quickly dispatch single units at a time, catch units out of position, and kill retreating unit. use surrounds to get easy hero kills with blademaster damage.
Bloodlust doesnt really synergize with this because your grunts and raider damage is negligible, and gets easily countered by any dispel. Since you need tier 3 for bloodlust its too costly of an investment, and as mentioned it will be easily countered by then. Spirit link will give your units the time they need to serve their purpose, walkers also have a dispel which is useful as well.
bloodlust requires t3 and a lot of resources, walkers are useful from the start and synergize with the healing from shadow hunter, also they are aoe and have a greater mana pool and much more tougher

Gold relevance. They would rather spend it on troops or items than upgrades.

Weebiest Katarina It’s to keep you consistently active. Though not closely intensive and fast paced as Starcraft, a high APM is actually helpful for some to keep focus and that consistency (or habit) of transitioning to later or maybe earlier in the game where you’re using different control groups to cast a multitude of abilities. Keep in mind every button and click is an action. In League, some people will have varying APM from just mouse clicks from 60-200+.
