You can still continue making this because despite Omega saying that Hunter is her brother she still sees him as a father, she just doesn't know what a father is. Remember in the first episode Hunter asked her where her parents were and she's like what's parents. Plus the Bad batch refer to the other members as brothers like most clones do so Omega has no doubt heard it. Father Hunter and Daughter Omega forever, I would like to also add that Hunter acts like an overprotective Dad every time Omega does literally anything.
Yes, of course! In reality; they are just clones. Clones consider each other to be brothers. But the dynamic is father-daughter between them. Just the fact that she said brother gave me the idea for a good joke and title! 😂
yeah honestly I'm in denial that she said "brother" lol. Hunter is her dad, plain and simple
Hunter's never had parents either, he's clearly struggling with the whole dad concept. She's one of them so... she's part of the squad. But he also anxiously wants to protect her. And is pretty inept at expressing how he feels. (Idea for a Bad Batch drinking game: Every time Hunter growls "Are you okay, Omega!?", take a drink.)
he really is the overprotective dad every time omega does anything! :D remember when wrecker wanted to give her a surprise? hunter immediately followed them! :D
@@khelatar But Hunter has seen parents and their children in action. He clearly wants to have Omega as his daughter, he likes having her around and he adores her. He just doesn't always understand how to express that.
Hunter: the protect dad who wants nothing bad happening to Omega
Wrecker: the uncle that plays with u a lot, but if someone threatens to hurt Omega, he will protect her.
Echo: the dad when hunter isn’t around aka the mom
Tech: the uncle that helps u with homework, teaches u things, and how to repair things
Crosshair (if he comes back to the Batch in season 2) the uncle that trains the kids to deal with guns
Crosshair more like the uncle who hates kids
Gonky: Old family dog that doesn’t do much and gets lots of love anyway.
AZ-I: The stray cat that tags along from your old home.

While I do think it's funny that the fandom is collectively crying out "they're not your brothers, Omega! they're your dads!" I do think it kind misses the fact that you can be raised by someone who isn't your parent. Basically they are her dads, but they're also her brothers (in a not creepy way).
Yeah, it's not that odd that oldest siblings are often sort of put in a "parental" role.

Hunter's like the eldest brother who takes over the family and acts like the father figure
Well, technically they all ARE her brothers... But I wouldn't describe her relationship with Tech or Echo as that between siblings -- they're more like eccentric uncles of hers. Wrecker is the big brother, and Hunter is the dad.
Yeah, I always go back and forth on who is the brother, uncle, dad, etc. with them. Either way; Hunter and Omega = Father and Daughter (even though they are technically brother and sister.)
I sort of see Echo as being closer to the mom lol
Or just as another dad. He does fill a similar niche and he does put himself in a more stern, teacher role than Hunter does. But he does clearly adore her.
And Crosshair is the estranged cousin lol
And the fun is tecnically Omega is the older of then

Wrecker is the strong protective older brother
Tech is the nerdy middle child with a lot of sass
Then Rex is the lone wolf uncle, highly respected but still technically an outcast
Sid is the Aunt with attachment issues
Crosshair is the black sheep of the family
What would be the future of the bad batch? Like would they all die together in a blaze of glory? Would they die in peace while Omega grows up? I am eager to know!

Now that Commando RC-1262 of Delta squad showed up (Scorch) I REALLY want a Delta Squad Season or arc in the Bad Batch. In legends, Delta did Order 66, so they'd make perfect villains for S2. Bad Batch vs Delta squad, with Rex being the hope for taking their chips out! Delta was The Bad Batch long before there was a Bad Batch, so they need to be represented. Another tangent; I can't contain myself when talking about Commandos! 🤣 They are the coolest things ever! (Well, other than the many things cooler than them, but still XD)

I know I’ve said this before … maybe on your channel, maybe on one of the channels you contribute to … but the only thing that still drives me crazy is how old the animators make the clones look.
TBB are supposed to be physically about 25, but they make them look 35. This really affects how we see their relationships. Both my sibs are over a decade my senior, and when I was Omega’s age and they were in their 20’s, it make for a unique “semi-sibling, semi-parental” dynamic. It really depended on the circumstances.
I know I’m psychoanalyzing here, but one of the things that intrigued me about the psychology of the clones is they did grow up in a largely homogenous environment. The first batches really only had peers, the Kaminoans, and a handful of trainers. They understood brotherhood, but what framework did they have for familial relationships outside their flash training?… 🤔
I tell you what, though: I really feel for these boys when Omega hits puberty. 🙈

I use a program called "Lightworks" on Windows PC! And these are just clips other uploaded on YT, edited for fair use.
