bette davis is my second favorite. i think its because of range. kate could not inly do drama but was adept at romcom as well. like bette davis she wasnt afraid of aging, she jyst went along with it and changed her roles with her age. not obsessed with beauty just. made her more beautiful. kate was unique like all the greats.

Wonderful gal! Reading about her in Kanin's "Tracy and Hepburn". Spellbinding. She was one of a kind.

Few actresses have left a mark as big as she. Bette Davis, Meryl Streep and Audrey Hepburn are the only actresses who I feel could hold a candle to Katherine. She could do it all; comedy, drama, romance, but still keep what kept her, her. Some may disagree with this and that’s okay, acting is pretty subjective. But In my mind, Katherine Hepburn truly was the greatest.

Read her autobiography if you're interested in her at all. It's facinating and lovely. The book you're reading ow (although accurate in many ways) caused massive pain for Kate and Spencer because their good friend wrote and published it about them without their consent and over a very private thing.
But the two best authorities on Kate are "ME" (which you can even get in audiobook for read by her!) and "Kate Remembered" by A. Scott Berg. :)

I was just on Pinterest looking at pictures of Anthony in Silence of the Lambs, I was like I know Anthony's voice when I hear it but that is quite a coincidence.. Sure enough

What a unique way of complementing this talented woman. I think she might have liked that descriptive. I sure do.

Are you blind? Hepburn was nasty, divorced, most likely unable to produce children. She looked like a man. Just stop.

The best tribute to Kate on TCM. The one by Cher is obviousy scripted, and rather phony. Hopkins knew her

+Themanwhocameback2 You’re positive? Do you have some sort of evidence to back up that claim? I thought Cher's TCM tribute to Katharine Hepburn was comforting and she spoke from the heart.
