    Aba makes a good point, main stream media is not helping young men especially those who are struggling to get in a relationship, therefore they can only resort to red pill advice which has helped. I was talking to friend of mine who never had any woman approach him or talk to him ever, he still had hope because his favourite content creators gave advice like "be yourself" and "there is someone for everyone" which clearly was not very helpful advice. However, one day on tiktok a red piller literally shouted on screen giving him a reality check that no woman would ever approach him and the reasons why, a week from then he grew the courage to start conversations with women and realised that he would never find anyone unless he approached first.

      Sometimes it can be hard to tell if Aba is against the red pill shit or with it though. The stuff he often says is very "women only want guys that do x conventional thing so if you don't you're a loser," but it sounds like he pursues really immature, uneducated women and then uses his experience as a highly generalisable example of what women want.

    I think Aba serves as sort of a "normie reality check" filter when it comes to xQc giving his takes. Destiny trains him in the tactics, and Aba makes sure that he's actually able to reach the target audience. It's important to remember that you're almost never actually aiming to change someone's mind in debates like this; what counts is their audience being able to understand you and maybe changing their minds.

My position is more nuanced, however. I wouldn't jump in front of her because of some internalized idea of "my role as a man". I would do it simply because I love her. Actually, I would hope she would love me enough to do the same for me, though obviously ideally I would be the one doing it for her. I think people have responsibilities toward the people they love, regardless of gender. I too am weirded out by this idea that it always has to be the man sacrificing for the woman. I understand where that idea comes from, that being the generalized physical differences between men and women, but taking general disparities and turning it into some kind of orthodoxy is extremely misguided IMO and doesn't maximize happiness.

Saying "if you treat women like that you will not get any women" is totally missing the mark. He should push back on it as a crap reword for making yourself successful, not as a bad strategy to get women because it's not the strategy to get them in the first place

    • @SJRFlow
      @SJRFlow 2 года назад

      I think our society is struggling with the reality we "want" and the reality of our biology. I think a lot of men are sick and tired of hearing the potential realities women expect. Knowing deep down that their biology doesn't complement these "liberal" view points.
      Destiny quoted Tate "you'll do your thing and I'll do my thing and we'll see what works" referring to xqc and his relationship.
      The problem a lot of more blue pilled leaners forget is that western relationships aren't only competing with with the ideologies of the west but relationship ideologies of the east and south (Africa and south America). A lot of the red pillers arguments are that these new western ideologies are simply getting to complex for people to keep up with. Back in the day, if your wife got caught cheating, shed be killed or excommunicated and in some cases the man she cheated with as well. Now based on my western values, this behavior is wrong, both the cheating and killing. But in the attempt to distance our behavior from the killing (or in a more friendly terminology, barbaric behavior) a over correction has occurred that is seeping into the conversation around cheating rather then the reaction of cheating.
      The Red pill community is in a sense a pushback against this line of thinking. First you have the metoo movement then the red pill community. The redpill community had been around for decades but could only take hold after the overcorrection of the metoo movement. These two ideologies will now be fighting, improving and competing on mass. This is why tate said "we'll see what works".
      Men are on unequal playing grounds regarding law (child support, alimony, abortion). You can't claim men and women are equal when you have laws that act on the basis of biology. It contradicts both the statement and the goal.
      Tate posits that his view points are better due to the fact they are rooted in biology and religion and even science. The me too movement is more of wishful thinking.
      This is why people like Jordan Peterson are so important, because he represents a middle ground in the relationship arena. Rather then men being subject to women or women being subject to men, It is best to have both. You and your partner should be devoted to each other (a relationship is not 50/50 but a 100/100).
      This is why the integrity of marriage is so important, people have been discussing and attempting to solve this issue since the dawn of man. Having a relationship where both people in the relationship won't just leave, cheat or abuse each other is the goal. But as Peterson says "humans only have insufficient solutions to complex issues" and that you cant have everything.
      I view tate more as a side of the coin than the entire coin. But to say what he is says is complete bullshit is just ignorant, and to say women have all the answers is also complete bullshit.

    • @ricodee3188
      @ricodee3188 2 года назад +6

      @UCFiVpqBRSyDi7ZHzgGr9uVA it’s important because the lack thereof of grounded _Thought-Processes_ are arguably the reasons why many have percolated into extreme viewpoints for a variety of social-political issues. For example, We see this manifest as the _dialogue-tree_ Thought-pattern, where individuals who haven’t grounded their thoughts on particular issues begin to either loop or look for vectors to reengage with their _dialogue-tree_ the minute you ask questions that break its continuity.

    31:44 this is the point that Andrew Tate makes when he says that money only amplifies the person. If a person was depressed and had low self esteem before he/she becomes rich, then that person becomes a depressed person with money. A dork with new money becomes a dork with money. The point is that a person needs to develop themselves by fulfilling intrinsic needs that a person needs to feel complete and or accomplished. Aba is right. Tate wasn't asking what xqc would do to a life or death situation, he was asking about whether or not he possessed the masculine instinct to protect. If responses to high pressure scenarios is on a spectrum with instinctual on one side and logical on the other, Tate leans 100% instinctual while xqc leans 100% logical.
    The problem is the most logical outcome doesn't produce the most heroic outcome, and as a culture we place a high amount of value on heroes who engage in self-sacrifice. As an example, if Tate had to choose between him and his wife getting on the life-boat of the Titanic he would sacrifice himself (or at least he says he would) no questions asked.
    xqc on the other hand might ask questions like 'Who is best suited to take care of the children?' or 'Who has more value to society?' While xqc's approach might produce better outcomes, allowing your wife to die because you make more money than her or something would result in that man being downright detested by all of society including his own kids.
    I think this is a big problem with what I call 'hypothetical bullshit.' What xqc is saying makes sense in a hypothetical world, but it completely ignores how society actually functions and results in people being turned off as Aba describes. I doubt there is a single logical worldview you could provide as a counter to this, other than to own up to the fact that you'll be detested for your behavior but that will ultimately result in a better world.

      I don’t get what this essay is trying to say .From what is said by red pill gurus like Tate the state of being logical is instinct for men.
      And idk we tend to view society as this monolith when it doesn’t really work like that
      Majority of the time.
      Whether the husband who lets his wife die is hated or understood and sympathized with depends on the demographic of person.

      @@iwillgowiththatcat8667 I think Tate would argue that in high pressure situations taking a logical approach that tries to find the best possible outcome is a sign of weakness/cowardice versus an instinctual approach approach that prioritizes defending the weak/women at your own safety.
      I don't think I'm viewing society as a monolith. I'm 100% correct that a man who would choose his life over his children or wife's lives for logical reasons would be judged viciously. Maybe not by you, but absolutely by a huge portion of the population. There is pretty much no demographic on any country that wouldn't be hyper critical of that decision. Meanwhile if he chose to die he'd be regarded as a hero pretty much universally.
      Again, we're not talking about losers on the internet but real life flesh and blood human beings.

      @@kangaroomax8198 what if my child was hitler? would i be hated for letting him die? what is wrong with answering a hypothetical with a hypothetical answer? also the people who asked him the hypothetical questions did not specify or provide the parameters, they should have said " if you hypothetically had no way to escape or call the police and it was physically impossible to avoid conflict, would you protect your wife if someone broke in and there was no other option but to either die or engage in combat?" you see when tate asked xqc the question then tate was baiting xqc and that was obvious, and also yes tate will come up with a few good points but that is a part of his manipulation to be likable, some of the things tate says in other videos are actually dangerous for society, but he is very good at hiding his intent behind well structured sentences, you see when a person can formulate a sentence that seems professional then people will think that this person knows what they are talking about and that what they are talking about is logical but if you analyze what the person is saying then you see that it makes no sense at all, and if you truly analyze what tate is saying in other videos then you will quickly notice that his point of viev and his advice is actualy bad for a mans mental health, he implies that men who do not live like him are losers and he also says it straight out sometimes and calls men "fucking weak losers", it would be very different if he sayd " i personaly want a woman who likes to cook, clean and live like a traditional woman" what happens between two human beings is totaly between those two people and as long as both parts agree then its not bad at all and then agian it is completly idiotic to even share his views because every single person on earth has their own prefrence when it comes to what they look for in a partner, and if i only want to date women who can take a backflip then if i am hinest about what i prefer and i put myself out there then eventually i will find a woman who is ok with that and lives up to my standards, let people like what they like, tate wont let you like what you like, he will call you a "loser, beta, weak bitch", so i dislike him simply because of him being disrespectful and manipulative, he is very sneaky and he will say one thing in one video and then another thing in another video to not get hate, in xqs´s debate tate acted like "hey its ok, live how you want" but that is not how tate actualy vies the world, he has in other videos been like " if you dont think like me then i hate you AND you are a loser". all i have to say is: if you believe in one thing then i dont mind what you belive in and i dont care what you think about what i belive in but i would prefer if you allow me to live life how i want without attacking me because i am not going out of my way to attack you, there is more to life then money, politics and women.

      @@AwetisticlyPerfect I'm not going to read that wall of text, but asking 'what if my child is Hitler' is going against the spirit of a debate. Tate was providing a pretty straightforward and realistic scenario: Home invasion and trying to understand if xqc would instinctively defend his woman or not. The answer is he would not, and that's all there is to it.
      That was Tate's entire point. I'm not condoning 100% of Tate's worldview, I disagree with him on a lot of things. I personally think he's voicing what's worked for him, trolling, and rallying a massive base. Not too unlike Trump actually.
      My argument stands. xqc looked really bad not being able to deal with a simple hypothetical, and what Tate was asking wasn't even unreasonable. As Aba said, like 99% of men on Earth would have unquestioningly said "Yes, I would protect my wife no matter what" and the fact xqc didn't do that provided Tate all the ammunition he needed to make xqc look like a coward.

Isn’t the audience/viewer entering the reality of “oh you don’t wanna have kids? that’s messed up”. That’s like asking an adopted kid, from birth, if they would cry or get depressed to know that their biological parents are dead. While living a happy life with adoptive ones. Is it correct to judge them if they say “No”? Could you even begin to fathom the internal confusion that must happen in their mind knowing what the socially correct answer is while not being able to locate feelings for ppl you never met? Ppl can’t get out of their biases. If you don’t subject people to experience unique conflicts of emotions, vast majority of humans will not empathize with you because of how rare the experience is. Most self help is incredibly nebulous and abstract. For example, what the fuck does "be yourself" mean? How do I start "being myself" right now? Journaling, therapy, even exercise are all long term practices with no immediate gratification.
    Whereas "clean your room" is incredibly simple and you can start making progress the second you stand up from your dorito covered gamer chair. You'll even feel better if you only clean a little bit.

      What is intention anyways? When a partner asks to go through your phone it is most likely tied to insecurity and a lot of other insecure actions, if they ask out of curiosity or for another reason, then it's fine. It's that simple.
      I'd love to go through my partners phone, I'd love to read what they write and how they communicate with others and what others say to them, but I don't need to, because it's pure curiosity and zero jealousy. When Destiny talks about his deal with Melina it sounds similar.

    • @vvzilla6211
      @vvzilla6211 2 года назад

      @@lyrrr.8059 I don't buy it. The essence of looking at how your partner communicates with others isn't to see if they are good, as you are with them, so by extension you already believe that, so you are checking if they are consistent. not even if they are cheating. If Destiny was saying that they just have each others phone passcodes and if her phone is nearby Destiny can use it to google search or order food or the like, but that didn't seem to be the implication. It seemed that he separated his, " I'm looking through my girls phone for inconsistencies" from other versions when they are practically the same. Can a totally lax person be completely taken advantage of if they never concern themselves with checking for inconsistencies? Yes. And Also, a person can be way over bearing and insecure about it while their partner is completely consistent in and out of their mobile device. Ultimately, there is no difference, especially when trying to prescribe these feelings of negativity to others you haven't met. Which, btw, is what his main critique of Andrew Tate was. ALWAYS negotiate your salary, even if it is low (in any corporate job, not service, that depends). It's about establishing the precedent that you desire a better rate. That aspect of "big dicking" in a job interview is not really big dicking, its expected and you might even be perceived as overpaid if you just take it. I think I recall that people who negotiate their first salary make 20% more in their career as a whole. Those conversations are expected and any awkwardness that arises in the conversation easily dissipates afterwards. This is because the hiring manager's salary is almost never dependent on yours. Additionally, companies that don't make their employees feel valued have higher turnover (and hiring is MUCH more expensive than bumping up someone's pay, even significantly).
    From my own experience, you might not get what you want in that first conversation, but they will almost always exceed your number come eval time (assuming you performed like you said you would).

So it crumbles against reality checks, and they HATE that. So they wiggle, contort, and speak in all this made-up good-sounding prose to try to diminish reality. Sometimes reality doesn't feel good. Too bad, so sad. I notice that even Destiny won't cave to some of these fundamentals. He will mock/diminish people's messaging like Tate or even Jordan Peterson... even though they are DEAD CORRECT on the women/motherhood/caring/home-making happiness theory. The hard truth is that there are VERY FEW women who can forego motherhood, replaced with solely a "career" - and end up feeling complete, without regret, by age 40. VERY FEW. The more progressives push against this, the worse they dig themselves into a falsehood. It's just never going to be true. Sometimes trad-cons are CORRECT. Sometimes. So let's break this thing down. A guy can definitely build himself to be better in terms of being in better shape, having a job / career that have a solid skill that can provide an income of somewhere around six figures, having better social interact with women, and a couple of other ways for a guy to prove himself. But unfortunately for the average guy the majority of them are not their reach the level to be a multi-millionaire or a billionaire where they can basically choose not to have the rules apply to them regardless if we're talking about legal rules ( unless they get caught doing a serious crime like murder via providing hard evidence ) or social rules ( that's been set by people in monogamous relationships particularly ).
      If the average guy try to tell the average chick that he's dating that he does not wants the chick he's dating to sleep around with other dudes, and for the average guy to be allowed to sleep around with other chicks while dating that chick, then that average chick would probably walk out of that relationship faster then a cheetah running with a firecracker up its a$$. The manosphere mindset when it comes to that particular situation is not really going to help that average guy to be in a successful monogamous relationship due to them not having the money, power, and status to have the ball in his court. Especially with social media where people share things, the word of him saying that is going to spread like wildfire and it might ruin his chances of him ever being a long-term successful monogamous relationship.

He puts himself exactly 50/50 with a woman in every hypothetical presented to him because he's afraid of offending women, and the only guys who think like this are guys who are weak and empty vessels that allow women to plant their own ideologies into them. Once these guys adopt feminist ideas and behavior, they no longer think like men, they think like women... so when someone makes a joke about women, or puts a label on them, he's going to have an emotional response to this in defense of women because he thinks like a woman. If he thought like a man with masculine principles none of this would bother him, but he's not a masculine person... he's a male feminist.

    In the hypotetical case that 2 guns are pointing to the man and his girlfriend, why should a man sacrifice himself for the girl? I mean yea sure it sounds poetic, and it would be quite heroic to sacrifice yourself over someone else you love, but like, both lifes are equal? If a man prefers to think for himself over someone else, why is it soooo wrong? Why is the man's life considered as having less worth which is why people say he should 100% "sacrifice" while the woman never should?
    This used to make sense when we were tribals because a woman had way more worth than a man for a small tribe/town, but that is no longer the case because we are no longer living like that, most of us are living in an average town of easily millions of people.
    In the case of the man and his child it makes way more sense to "sacrifice" and it is almost an obligation because the child is your responsability and that child exists because of you. But a woman that you dont even know if you are still going to be a couple 3 years in the future? idk man

People who love each other protect each other. if it was a situation where there is a guy holding a knife, then yes i would say i would have more of a duty to protect her simply because i am stronger than her, she would likely get clobbered, but NOT because of "ooga booga, I have a dick, I am the guy."

    12:10 The responsibility is not to 'get in front of the bullet'. The responsibility is to do everything in your power to protect your child. I think the conflation of those two things is what trips xQc (and me) up. When Aba proposes a *specific action* for xQc to take, 'get in front of the bullet,' it makes the question seem more like he's asking "what would you do?" or "how would you protect your child?" in this situation, which is a much different, and any answer to a question like that basically becomes posturing.

    • @elijahbuscho7715
      @elijahbuscho7715 2 года назад +3

      @@capilah6285 I'll respond to each of the 3 main paragraphs one by one.
      1. I actually think Aba's hypothetical is bad because, again, what he meant didn't match what he said. I think Aba meant "in that scenario is your responsibility to do everything in your power to protect your child," but what he really said was "is it your responsibility to get in front of the bullet," and these are different. Let me present my own hypothetical to illustrate how they are different. So hypothetically it's the same scenario where there is a guy with gun about to shoot your kid, but in addition you have a gun and know how to use it. If your responsibility is to get in front of the bullet, you would run in front of the bullet and maybe save your kid at the cost of your life, but also the shooter might just be able to kill both. If your responsibility is to do everything you can to protect, the logical action is to shoot the shooter before they shoot your kid. So this is a sub-hypothetical of Aba's hypothetical where what Aba meant doesn't match what he said. Therefore the hypothetical is bad.
      2. I agree that that's what most men would say. The one thing I would add is that the men who chastise you for not agreeing to that are cringe and posturing. A home intruder scenario encompasses a large spectrum of scenarios, and confronting the intruder is not the best action every single time. The reason these hypotheticals are bad is because there are so many potential edge cases that most people just ignore.
      3. I think x sees that the hypotheticals are bad, but he doesn't know how to explain why they are bad, so he avoids them. I agree that it's important to engage in hypotheticals, but it's also essential to fight for hypotheticals that don't break down in the edge cases.

      @@elijahbuscho7715 the point of hypotheticals isnt always to illustrate a detailed scenario so that your action is optimal and objectively correct. hypotheticals will always be more abstract and dilluted in comparison to reality, because they possibly cant be as precise as reality. the point of hypotheticals is more of a principle/moral check and every normal person understands this too. "would you catch a bullet for your kid?"; of course you would unless youre a bad person. the question isnt "what is your optimal and realistic course of actions so that you maximize safety for your kid?". its not about method, its about principles. xqc even repeated that in this video but he still for some reason refused to answer clearly and satisfying for the normal person.

    • @elijahbuscho7715
      @elijahbuscho7715 2 года назад +3

      @@BigBootyBatman hypotheticals can of course be used in that way, but my point is that Aba's hypothetical was poor at doing that. If you want to do a purely moral check, you have to build a hypothetical where you eliminate all other factors except the morals in question. Here's an example of a good hypothetical to test this: suppose your kid was going to die, and the only possible thing you could do to save him was press a button and you would die instead, what would you do? There really is only one answer. Either you press the button and sacrifice yourself for your child, or you do not. This hypothetical is much better because it cuts out any real life factors that distract from the core moral principle. I believe that this is what Aba was trying to get at, but he missed it slightly.

    • @BigBootyBatman
      @BigBootyBatman 2 года назад +1

      @@elijahbuscho7715 your hypothetical is in no way better except it's far more contrived and unrealistic, something even X would criticize. The moral question is as clear as it gets in Abas example: are you altruistic in the face of danger in favor of your close people? The only right answer has to be yes, because that's what family is about.

    • @elijahbuscho7715
      @elijahbuscho7715 2 года назад

      @@BigBootyBatman what if the gunman missed? What if he was out of ammo? What I could have thrown something at the gunman to give me time to tackle him and take away his gun? What if always carry a gun and I could shoot the gunman instead of taking the bullet? What if the gunman just wanted to use the gun as a threat and if I just kept still instead of running in front of my son we'd both survive, whereas the sudden movement of running would cause the gunman to fire, killing us both? These are all valid sub-hypotheticals that are possible under Aba's hypothetical, and with these the answer to the question is no, I would not take the bullet because there is a better way to protect my family than just getting shot. Therefore the answer to Aba's hypothetical is NOT always yes. So the hypothetical doesn't cover all of the edge cases and is therefore bad. These types of sub-hypotheticals are impossible with my more synthetic hypothetical because all edge cases are covered, unless you can think of a counterexample. That's why the more synthetic hypothetical is better. It cuts away any distracting possibilities while retaining the moral question.

    XQC's answer disappointed me greatly. It was a question of where you fall on the morality scale essentially. What type of man you are or more specifically what type of man you strive to be.
    A man who leans more towards being a man of duty, principle and morals would put himself in harm's way if it meant a better survival chance for his beloved wife or child.
    A man who leans more towards being a psychopath would just look to save his own skin, because he can just find another woman to have kids with and further his genetic lineage, while also preserving his precious life and existence for as long as he can. You can argue it's the most rational thing you can do in this case, but if every man strives to be like this, we are fucked. In a world full of people like this, society suffers, humanity suffers and destruction is what inevitably follows.

      Counterpoint: People tend to overestimate how strong people's predicted (but usually unknowable in reality) responses to “lifeboat” situations are as predictors of pro-social and productive behavior in most areas of life.
      Plus, if we _needed_ paragons to advance society, we'd never have advanced past mud huts.
      War criminals like Fritz Haber enabled the deaths of millions, while simultaneously enabling the lives of billions.
      He also possibly drove his wife Clara to suicide.
      People can be complicated.
      Concepts of honor and self-sacrifice were stronger in the American South than in the North, all the way up to the civil war.
      It didn't seem to help their social fabric, or even their economic and military capabilities much.
      The factions most obsessed with duty, principle, and the morality of sacrifice in World War 2 were probably the Imperial Japanese and the Germans.
      Sacrifice was often said to be the highest and most sacred virtue in and of itself for them.
      If war crime frequency is any indicator, people who see themselves as disposable are the most likely to see other people the same way.
      Everyone wants others to live by the standards they set for themselves on some level.
      If you're willing to sacrifice your own life but someone else isn't willing to sacrifice theirs, it often breeds resentment.
      The biggest mistake I'm seeing here is that people are seeing protecting your kin as a sacrifice.
      If you value them more than your own life, that's not a sacrifice, that's a tradeoff.
      You might be dead, but you got more out of it from that outcome by your own standards.
      The issue seems less due to _selfishness_ (i.e., valuing yourself) and more due to an inability to place greater value in something besides yourself.
      People have a need to feel immortal to cope with the permanence of death and oblivion.
      Until and unless actual biological immortality becomes a thing, they need to do this by either believing in a hereafter, or placing value in something that'll outlive them indefinitely, like their biological, familial, ideological, or cultural “lineage”.
      If you truly believed in a hereafter, throwing away all of your fragile, limited mortal existence (and all of its varied but ultimately finite pleasures) in exchange for eternity isn't being selfless.
      That's just being smart.
      It's a decision ultimately grounded in egoism, which was a recurring theme throughout much of Christian culture and the Greek culture that inspired it.
      If you look closely, even the Imperial Japanese and Germans I mentioned earlier operated this way in practice.
      Seeing cultural or racial survival as the route to individual “immortality”.
      The honor and sacrifice stuff is mostly window dressing.
      Any sufficiently long-term form of selfishness is indistinguishable from altruism.
      Low time preference and the delayed gratification, short-term impulse control and long-term planning that it enables, is part of the bedrock of civilization.
      Also, fun fact, one of the symptoms of psychopathy isn't just a lack of empathy, but high time preference, an inability to set or care about long-term goals.
      What are the odds the lack of empathy and lack of long term vision are intertwined?
      Your life is a fragile thing, if the happiness of everyone else means nothing to you, why care about the future? You'd be a fool not to live for the moment.
      You can't get low time preference without a guarantee or at least a high chance of surviving into the future that you contributed to.
      Hard sell considering how fragile flesh is, especially when times are tough.
      However, If your “survival” isn't tied to your fragile body… that changes things.
      It would explain people being less hesitant to take a bullet for their kids compared to a GF or even a spouse that they've known for longer.
      xQc and Destiny might have a particular problem with the part about taking a bullet for a chick because acknowledging that there's a societal expectation for the guy to take the bullet (one way or another) and supporting it means dragging up all sorts of fun topics, like benevolent sexism that can be a huge net benefit to women as a group.
      Kind of messes with the whole gender equality thing.
      Of course, you could just have both partners say they'd do it for the other.
      EDIT: Not technically disagreeing with your point. Just trying to get into why you might be a bit off in your assumptions about the causes and solutions.
