I'm proud to say that thanks to your help, I was successful. Now I just have to figure out how to do my own art with drawing and shapes and perspectives.
Thank you for this. Your video has shown me how to achieve this for a wrap I am considering doing for my car?! I am now following you for more inspiration and education.
Thank you SO much for this video. It has helped me IMMENSELY with a project that I am way out of my element for. This changed everything and made my life easier!!!
One of the best tutorials I have come across in a while. Why do you only have one video? I would also like to see the entire process from start to finish. I am currently working on a design and would like to see a specific video on a wrap that combines all angles for the printer. And... how you handle/join graphics from sides to hood and top of the car. Thanks!
a good way of doing joint graphics is to print them out as one and wrap them as one panel then cut the wrap/graphic in between the panels. (6 years for a reply but hopefully someone finds use for it)
I really think thats a great video one of the few which helps with the software side of such projects. I'd really like a full guide. Thanks for all that content
Thanks for the upload. Informative yet simplified. I needed Photoshop for Dummies: Automotive Wrapping 101 🤣 Application I got, graphic design, well can you say Swoosh 🤪 Your a life saver!
Sorry for replying 3 years late, but you can either draw it yourself and put it on or just bring an image in from the internet then put it into the layer
One of the most helpful wrap design videos i've found on youtube, please do another video with the 3/4 view & also how to make the artwork. look forward to it, thanks a lot
Aloha, thank you so much for showing this tutorial It was very informative. Per your request, I think I’d like to know what does process entail to make artwork on car. I have client that I was about to have me spray paint my art on their food truck but is now considering to use my artwork as a wrap. I think me being familiar with the steps making the graphic will help. Thank you soon munch
I followed along without a white car. Did each step and then, later in the video, you mentioned starting with a white car. If I don't have a white car, what do I do to get the shadows (multiply)? I have a stickered up race car that I am trying to "wrap" in graphic. Thanks for the video.
Hi i’ve been thinking of wrapping a scale model car, The whole model is only about 10 inches long, from watching your video I think I’ve pretty much got it figured out how to make the template and the graphics. What I don’t understand is how do you print to scale, whether it be for size real life vehicle, or a model. How do you print it to The exact size needed? Thanks if possible would be nice to see a video on this
Hey man great video...you mentioned you may do a 3/4 profile version, any chance you could get one done? Im struggling at the minute with perspective of my decals. Thanks again, great work
Hold strg/or cmd on mac, and click on the mask to select the shape. Than you can make a new layer an paint the shape with the brush or the colorbucket on the new layer.
im new to photoshop. and by new, i mean i got it yesterday. Your tutorial is very easy to follow for the most part, the only problem is im so unexperienced that theres things you do that seem to not need explaining that make it so i have no idea how you did it lol. but im trying. also, i dont understand what the need to multiply the shadows is.
Where did you find the graphic that you put on the car? i want to find one to put on my miata and see how it looks but i cant find any graphics like you had
My client is an architect firm. They are doing a remodel on a building that has the outside covered with river rock. They want to see what it would look like painted a few different colors. Any thoughts on how to do this realistically in PS? I have to keep the shape of each rock, and the grout between them, while losing the color changes in each.
Xccept I’d assume that if your making the design for your car yourself, its also your job to get the dimensions for the print. If you were to get it custom made by like Xpressskins, they would give you it ready to print
YES for the perspective view toturial!
