I LOVE The Shades of Magic Trilogy!! I love the characters SO much (well most of them) I can't wait to get my hands on the 4th book because it revolves around one of my favorite characters. I'm so excited to see you read the series!
Not me adding every single book on my TBR. 164 and growing! Also, The Bridge Kingdom is a good book. The second is better then the first book. I thought the romance in the first book was slow moving but there is other stuff that happens that keeps you reading. Their relationship though is so cute. Happy reading! 😊

The 'A darker shade of Magic' trilogy is my comfort series! And yes another book has just been released 'The Fragile threads of power' - it's set seven years after 'A conjuring of light', so it's more of a follow on than a continuation (I'm not a 100% sure though because I haven't read it yet!)
Omg! Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson is my all-time favourite fantasy series! It has an amazing magic system and it actually has romance in it as well and I absolutely loved it
I only have 3 fantasy books I plan to read/listen to this fall in October and November. I'm restarting (and hopefully finally finishing) the House of Night series by listening to Marked. I also plan on listening to Red Queen and finally reading ACOTOAR! I can't wait! The other books on my fall tbr are 2 thrillers and 1 cute spooky book. I'm excited for all of them.
I hope you end up getting to Mistborn! The whole series is so freaking good - there's high stakes, romance, special powers - what more could you get out of fantasy??
an ember in the ashes by sabaa tahir (4 books) and strange the dreamer by laini taylor (2 books) are both amazing fantasy series!!! the first one is set in a roman empire inspired world, is in first person, and has a (kind of) game type plot for the first book. strange the dreamer is BEAUTIFUL and the second book made me cry. they aren't romantasy really but have really good romance subplots!!
Love the fantasy recs/tbr, also loved the gilmore girls reference just randomly popped in there when you were talking about Ninth House, 100% something I would say as well.

I'm on the 3rd book now in the shades of magic trilogy and am absolutely loving the series so personally I highly recommend it! In terms of there being a 4th book, there kind of is, so there is a book that was just released called the fragile threads of power which is the first installment of the threads of power trilogy which does follow on from the shades of magic trilogy. I will definitely be reading it once I finish the 3rd book.
Just so you know I loved A Broken Blade but it doesn’t have dragons and if it does they are not a main part. Don’t want you to be disappointed going into it looking for dragons.
If you want a YA fantasy with fey, I highly recommend The Iron Fey series from Julie Kagawa. It's really fast-paced and it is probably my favourite series of all time.
Fire Keeper’s Daughter isn’t a Fantasy book. It’s a realistic fictional YA mystery that deals with real life stuff that happens on Reservations and intergenerational trauma. It’s a really good book and a 5 star read for me. 16:15

Yesss all those books look soo good! A Darker shade of magic is so fricken good!! (Yes book 4 just came out, I’m not sure what it’s about cause things are tied up in the trilogy). The wrath and the Dawn is a cool story I read it a while back. Can’t wait for a curse of true love!! Ninth house was really good!! Completely different vibe from 6 of crows and def more mature but a really interesting premise and the second book is like 500 pages of pining 🙌🏻

AND ERAGON was my favorite almost 15 years ago, before forth wing was even a thought in rebecca’s genial brain. My brother read it, loved it and I was forced to watch the movie in cinema with my family. After 10 minutes I was in another world, mouth wide open hooked, and back at home read the books back to back. They have some lengths but in my opinion the world is even greater than fourth wing… Be ready for something magical 🧙🏻♂️🐉 🧝🏻♀️;)

It was written when Christopher Paolini when he was 15 (and published in 2002 so it can’t get inspiration from fourth wing if that’s what you meant). But I hope you enjoy the vibes, I’ll tell you it will not give fourth wing vibes because it was written by a 15 year old in 2001 so there won’t be any smut and it is written for a younger audience.
