You can try printing out photos of the Yoda and Chairs and hang them in the booth with pricing and your email and potentially find a local buyer that way as well.
People are so critical but you guys keep doing you! You know what works for your business models and you know your whys. You are kind enough to share your experience with us, but you don't owe anyone any explanation. I've personally learned a lot from you and I had been reselling a while so I fully appreciate it! You both are also just lots of fun to watch!
So sorry to see you having such a cruddy day but Kayla, way to go on being a positive influence. You two work so well together! Just a joy to watch. 😊 On days like this I remind myself. **It's a bad day, but it's also a great life!** See you tonight on whatnot. 😊
Yesterday I found out that the Soroptomists were collecting clothes for inmates being released from the Women's Prison. I have a lot of clothes that have been listed for awhile on Poshmark and decided on the fly to purge my inventory. It felt great making that donation to them this afternoon - 2 extra large bags (I used dry cleaner bags that taped up). Julian, try tai chi for your back. It has worked great for mine, plus I also do 10 sit-ups to help my lower back. I've suggested wearing a back brace. Have you tried it yet? Take care!
You could post a photo of the bigger items in your booth as a way to try to sell them to alert people that you have more merchandise that just won’t fit in the booth.
Hey Brother. I know you do the chiropractor for your back but I have had lumbar stenosis for over ten years. They recommended surgery and I respectfully declined after doing some research and getting some God-sent advice from a 90 year old neighbor who had five back surgeries! In the end I elected physical therapy and it worked wonders (mostly core work) but they teach you what exercises you can do at home as well, many of which I still do whenever it acts up. Hope this helps. God Bless. Oh yeah, put that Yoda in your booth. People who own comic book stores, bookstores, or hobby shops would definitely be interested in a piece like that for their store. I saw a similar figure like that in an antique store one day and I heard a woman on her phone calling a friend up telling him that he been looking for it and did he want her to buy it or hold it until he got there. So I definitely think getting some eyes on it in the booth will get it sold quicker than on Facebook.
Would it be possible to take pictures of the larger items to put in the booth? If customers are interested arrangement could be made to show/sale at the storage.
Y'all are so organized!!! I have watched other RUclips channels where their merchandise was scattered all through their house, or if they did have a storage area, most of the time they had to hunt allover to find the items. This would drive me nuts! Can't wait to watch your Whatnot show tonight. Best of luck with your sales. God bless. ❤
We just picked up a vintage 42” Wicker mushroom table... off the side of the road. It’s in nearly perfect shape and huge nice tight wicker weave. Put some Linseed Oil on it and the thing looks like new. We’re gunna list it locally (TX) for $340. There are a only a few listing comps but not a single sold comp and none as nice as this one. They’re listing at $1800-2400. Donate that stuff. It will help your cred with the thrift or GW you donate to. Or to your church
I have STOPPED donating to Goodwill entirely even though they just opened a new store close to me. I have been donating to local thrift stores only. Eventually Goodwill will figure it out when their donations stop.
We Donate to Salvation Army or local community Thrifts. Salvation Army does so much good, they know we are resellers and thank us for buying. Last summer we had a big buying day and they said, “thank you, this helps us to send several kids to summer camp”.
Those chairs are a spring / summer sale, they're a seasonal thing, they will sell fast in late spring early summer for good money hold on to them! Go to an art gallery to find an art person to look at your art for you.
I don't like Whatnot either, that being said, I don't resell full time either. You have to do what you have to do, use every platform at your disposal. I watch every video on both channels, can't get enough. Keep grinding.
What a deal on the linens. Last set I bought were cheaper and I spent $80. It's a shame you can't get storage units that are side by side. I really enjoy watching both channels.
I try not to skip new linens. Loving them. Empty upside down bins! Woohoo! I'm about at the end of picking up anything bigger than a breadbox. Kevin Commonwealth, this morning episode was all on Goodwill. Love Kayla's attitude. keep a positive attitude. That Minnie Mini is a great buy! I find stains all the time in my good light that I couldn't see where I bought it. I've been in and out of the chiropractor my entire life. What did they tell you? I might have a tip or trick.
Have you thought about getting a lanyard for your phones? I'm always setting my phone down in random places when taking photos of items and just got one to help keep my phone with me at all times when I need it!
I love watching your videos and was wondering if have jewelry loops? I use one for looking for dates on coins or on jewelry check if gold or silver. Mine folds up and I carry it in my pocket. 😊😊
Don't know nothin' bout no paintings. Good luck with that. I have that same problem, getting rid of artwork - even if I know it has $$$ value. Thanks again.
Good ideas! It was fun bidding today even though I didn't win anything. Now I just have to figure out how to register for give aways. I watch you on U tube, so when it says go to What not I'm lost. I'm sooo "un-tecky." Cat
I agree, You have to change with the times or be left behind. Seems as if a lot of resellers are moving to wholesale lately too. That is a problem for us resellers who can't afford the larger space for wholesale, However, they are filling that need for other resellers who cannot find lower cost items in todays thrift stores. I wish someone would start a wholesale business with boxes rather than pallets for us who are smaller sellers. Thanks for another great video.
can you take pics of the big chairs and put the pics in your booth with the info on them? That way someone might see you have them that would be interested
Get a back inverter table to decompress your spine. Increases blood flow to the discs so your cells stay alive and healthy and do not become degenerative. Stretch before any activity like athletes do.
White smoke can indicate water mixing with oil. My son had that happen with his brand new corvette. Not once but three times. They replaced his engine but couldn’t determine why it was doing it. I hope it is not that. 😢
You have a Lot of time invested in your eBay Store,. . Making sure it works is important.. I really sympathize with your back problems.. Getting older has meant fewer working parts .. Luck on finding storage units that have inventory for you that don't hurt your back..
It's a ways away but you might want to look at SC Comicon as a destination to bring him and try to sell him. Big room full of nerds might be a decent place to find a buyer at a better price than local (and get yourself a decent thrifting weekend in the deal). Something that big I would definitely put it together and bring a little booklet of 5-10 printed photos and maybe a printout of the original sales listing on the retailers site (I think maybe you said Sideshow?). Wander the sales floor and see what offers you get and drop cards maybe? Might be a nice accent piece at a store for one of the dealers or you could do a little shady flyering and see if an attendee might be interested. Worth a shot at least.
Would you be able to take pictures of your items that are too big for the booth and sell them in there? It would mean a lot more work, but the item (yoda) might sell.
Hey Julian. I believe the knife you want to give to dad is a tobacco knife. I remember my father using one. Brings back some heartfelt memories. Thanks for all the info.
Hang up the map in your house. I dont really pick up VCR's anymore. It seems like its always broken for me. Lol. Everyone hates on Whatnot, but if it works for you and its fun for y'all, just keep doing what you doing. I tried to sell on there before and didnt have much success. Plus its not really something I'm super into, so its not for everyone, but you guys have great personalities and its fun to see your shows.
I don't know how much it would be but what about getting another booth just big enough for the bigger items and put them in there also keep them listed on marketplace and just say in the description that if they're local they could go there to check it out and possibly buy it there from booth...can also put smaller items in that booth also...and after one big item has sold either way u can rotate and put another one in...just a thought I had while watching yall and talking about the bigger items...hope u get them sold either way ☺
Can you rent a booth for one month only ? Perhaps rent smallest possible and move the chair set, yoga and those larger new appliances in boxes there to get them liquidated. It could be worth booth rent charge to get them sold 🇨🇦🇨🇦
If it’s $250 new why sell for $35? You could probably get $100 easy since most bedding stuff isn’t cheap to start with. I would even get closer to the sale price of these when they sold at the store, most patterns you can’t find anymore since they change them all the time.
I love these videos. Is there a common area that the shop owner might have that you could put the Yoda and the chairs? Or maybe one of the other booth owners have room that you could give a cut of the profit. Just a thought? I am actually shocked that these haven't sold. Do you have a Habitat for Humanity that you could donate that map?
Last year I was selling shipping on marketplace like crazy. This year nothing is moving and eBay is selling like crazy. It’s so weird how year to year platforms change for sales
If allowed could you put pix of Yoda and chairs in your booth saying as seen on Marketplace. Double your exposure with out taking up space in the booth.
Wow so many great ideas on here for you! Who cares if some don't like Whatnot. It works for you! I read one nasty comment someone posted about Whatnot. How rude. My Momma always said "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."
Make a poster of Yoda with a price and hang it up in the booth. You could frame it and make it look more important. You could do that with the Wicker chairs also.
Hey Kayla 👋 HEY Julian!!! Liquidation seems to be going well. My dumpster diving finds recently have been little girls toys. I've got several boxes with Barbie, Disney, Marvel, etc. & whatever brand I find, I toss it in. Once it's full, I post it as Barbie Replacement Pieces Lot or whatever brand. Instead of trying to build sets and list each individual piece, it's a little of everything. Wish me luck😊 HAPPY HUNTING!!! #THATAINTTOOSHABBY
Hi You Guys. If you haven't sold those chairs and Yoda, you can post a picture with measurements and then tape a measuring device nearby so that people can make an educated decision. Make sure to leave contact info so that a buyer can contact and purchase them from you and they don't have to take up a bunch of space. I hope this helps.
Funny you should say that Kayla about storage...I currently have 2 1960 wicker chairs in my living room..and trust me I don't have a big living room, haven't posted them yet still debating the price! plus I'm still enjoying looking at them. It is sad that the prices at goodwill are so high definately glad I have a fulltime job as well. Why don't you donate the map to a school...
I'm definitely getting less at Goodwill lately. So many things there I'd get either for myself or to sell, and the price is just too high. Maybe if enough of us complain around the country, they'll bring prices down 😂
I'm the worst at listing things (Kayla's question about things your holding onto to list). My ADHD procrastinating kicks in. I've decided I really need to create a routine. I'm new to this reselling, so I'm learning from y'all and a couple others along the way - so thanks ❤ BTW I'm AKA Craft T Gurl 😉
You'll do great!! I've been doing reselling for 2 years, in January. But, I only sell things I find dumpster diving or free items. I have the same issue with listing. I'm consistently bringing items in and the get stuck in the DEATH PILE. So you're definitely not alone. HAPPY HUNTING 😊
Oh, and, man you need to take care of your back. I have had major back surgery, and possibly looking at a second in a few years. Take care, lift properly, maybe wear a brace.
You can try printing out photos of the Yoda and Chairs and hang them in the booth with pricing and your email and potentially find a local buyer that way as well.
A very good idea
People are so critical but you guys keep doing you! You know what works for your business models and you know your whys. You are kind enough to share your experience with us, but you don't owe anyone any explanation. I've personally learned a lot from you and I had been reselling a while so I fully appreciate it! You both are also just lots of fun to watch!
You are both strong resellers! You may have a week or two not selling much, but your sure consistent. Have a fun week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Kayla has a good attitude. Hang in there! Thanks for sharing.
So sorry to see you having such a cruddy day but Kayla, way to go on being a positive influence. You two work so well together! Just a joy to watch. 😊
On days like this I remind myself. **It's a bad day, but it's also a great life!**
See you tonight on whatnot. 😊
I got my wifes Christmas present early..a $5 coach purse..she loves it.SORTED.
I don’t know anything about no paintings! Love your grammar! They have Yoda to talk to! Love your humor!
I had that same wicker set as a teenager back in the 80's. I absolutely loved it and wish I could find one again.
You might want a coax cable also. I have sold vcr’s that tested good with rca but the coax was bad
Yesterday I found out that the Soroptomists were collecting clothes for inmates being released from the Women's Prison. Just a thought. Why not photograph the large items and place them on a bulletin board in the booth
You should wear a back support belt
You could post a photo of the bigger items in your booth as a way to try to sell them to alert people that you have more merchandise that just won’t fit in the booth.
I was going to come and write the same thing it's a really good idea

You two are such a darling couple❤❤❤ I really enjoy both your channels❤❤❤
Every classroom needs a real map! and you are so wise to pivot with the market!
You can save the map and stuff til January and run a 50% off Clearance Sale in your booth. I do that every year and have good January totals.
Y'all are so organized!!! I have watched other RUclips channels where their merchandise was scattered all through their house, or if they did have a storage area, most of the time they had to hunt allover to find the items. 😊😊
beautiful bedding - kingsize are expensive too
YES Kingsize is always sooo expensive!
You are both hilarious. Always make me laugh.
Do you have Nextdoor in your area? Nextdoor has buy and sell. Try listing the chairs on there.
Don't know nothin' bout no paintings. Good luck with that. I have that same problem, getting rid of artwork - even if I know it has $$$ value. Thanks again.
Hi guys, There just needs to be more hours in the day for you to list your items. LOL Here is hoping for better days God bless both of you
Do what’s best for y’all! ❤
I see you buy a lot but not selling a lot. Can you show more of your sold items. Love you guys
Good ideas! It was fun bidding today even though I didn't win anything. Now I just have to figure out how to register for give aways. I watch you on U tube, so when it says go to What not I'm lost. I'm sooo "un-tecky." Cat
My son has a Jeep like yours & just mentioned he wanted one of those gas filler covers. It does look nice!

You almost have to keep yoda as a mascot for your channel, I will miss him
Wow I have to get my times straight. Can’t wait to see how much moolah you made.🎉😊
I think I actually posted this one on the wrong day LOL
@@flipzquad3277 no worries, probably a 3 show day.😀
can you take pics of the big chairs and put the pics in your booth with the info on them? That way someone might see you have them that would be interested
Get a back inverter table to decompress your spine. Increases blood flow to the discs so your cells stay alive and healthy and do not become degenerative. Stretch before any activity like athletes do.
You need to get that gum ball machine in the booth, with runts, not gum balls, or peanut m and ms
You can’t please everyone lol. You have to do what’s best for you guys..and moving a lot of times quick on whatnot is what works for you 😊
White smoke can indicate water mixing with oil.

It’s worth a try. 😊
How many items do you list per day?
Just finished goodwilling 😅 zero items and people are to aggressive when the new carts come out 😢. Today I officially retire from goodwills 😅😅
He he! The cell phone! I thought I forgot my keys 50 miles oneway at a location I worked at! Thankfully I did not but was like OH S#@*!
Whatever happened to that green glass/crystal owl I saw you picked up recently?
Hang up the map in your house. I dont really pick up VCR's anymore. It seems like its always broken for me. Lol. 5:00 how much for the flower doorstop on the lower right? Please reply 🙏🏼
It's a Ford....Fix Or Repair Daily....my husband has one that currently will not start also! lol!

Hey.....maybe a teacher or a home schooler mom would want the map for their geography lessons??
Can you rent a booth for one month only ? Perhaps rent smallest possible and move the chair set, yoga and those larger new appliances in boxes there to get them liquidated. It could be worth booth rent charge to get them sold 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Call George, he knows everything or send me all of them LOL.
Put map on market place for real cheap. I just hate seeing things go to dump. Someone will want
Do you do eBay local pickup or just marketplace?if not you might try that
If it’s $250 new why sell for $35? You could probably get $100 easy since most bedding stuff isn’t cheap to start with. I would even get closer to the sale price of these when they sold at the store, most patterns you can’t find anymore since they change them all the time.
I wish I lived closer. I'd pickup the Yoda from you. It's a good deal.
Maybe send Yoda to the auction house?
we all have those days,,, time to shop at a new store,,, change directions,,, go left instead of right
I love these videos. Is there a common area that the shop owner might have that you could put the Yoda and the chairs? Or maybe one of the other booth owners have room that you could give a cut of the profit. Just a thought? I am actually shocked that these haven't sold. Do you have a Habitat for Humanity that you could donate that map?
Buddy, I know how you feel. I older I get the further it is to the floor.
I liked Yoda man. How can I find him.
right now he is only posted on Facebook market place
Last year I was selling shipping on marketplace like crazy. This year nothing is moving and eBay is selling like crazy. It’s so weird how year to year platforms change for sales
If allowed could you put pix of Yoda and chairs in your booth saying as seen on Marketplace. Double your exposure with out taking up space in the booth.
That's a good idea. They could do that for things too big for the booth.
There are days which are a Disturbance in the Force......
Wow so many great ideas on here for you! Who cares if some don't like Whatnot. It works for you! I read one nasty comment someone posted about Whatnot. How rude. My Momma always said "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."

The magnetic light is for when your car/truck/jeep breaks down and you have to work on it when it's dark and you can't get in the garage.
Do you still have the Carolina Panthers jersey that you got in storage unit you bought?
Check with someone that does Estate Sales for an assessment of the art work.

Have you ever thought of contacting Retro Rick about Yoda? Maybe he could use it in his store.
Lordy help a girl out! Jk. We ain’t got no lights!
Buy Tea Tree Oil. Have Kayla rub it on your back. See if it feels better.
Contact the niche lady. She has a you tube channel. I have watched her channel. She might give a clue to help you. She lives in Las Vegas.
Go ahead and complain about goodwill. They are crazy. The other day I went and saw something from dollar tree priced for 3 bucks
I'm definitely getting less at Goodwill lately. So many things there I'd get either for myself or to sell, and the price is just too high. Maybe if enough of us complain around the country, they'll bring prices down 😂
Give the map to Goodwill
my 9 year old autistic grandson would love Yoda man, would you sell it and ship it to NY? let me know. thanks!
For the map, there might be some homeschoolers interested in it. Maybe?
Did you have Yota on ebay?
I love whatnot. Just saying
Vitamin D3 will slow down lower back problems that happen as we age.
Yes D3 is great for bones. Try massage to loosen tight muscles. Also alternate heating pad then cold gel pack. Tylenol 500mg.
I bet your large map may sell to the audience if homeschoolers
Oh, and, man you need to take care of your back. I have had major back surgery, and possibly looking at a second in a few years. Take care, lift properly, maybe wear a brace.
