      The Jews are the opposite of the pagans, maintaining the traditions and words passed down from Moses, like Sabbath, Passover, and Day of Atonement. Muslims do not follow these, instead preferring the pagan traditions of the Arabs.

      Pope Julius I
      Although some evidence show that Jesus birth should have occurred in the spring (why would shepherds be herding in the middle of winter as it's stated in the Bible?), Pope Julius I chose December 25. It is commonly believed that the church chose this date in an effort to adopt and absorb the traditions of the pagan Saturnalia festival.

  • @TheDragonaf1
    @TheDragonaf1 17 дней назад +4

    Christmas comes from around 380 when Christianity was chosen by the Pagens of Rome, in fact they went one step further and refused worship of all other kinds, but the people at heart were still pagan - so to make it easier on the people Theopilus (i belive) decided to fuze the two teachings together aka the festival of welcoming back the son and men doing adult actions to stay warm (Satrinalia) became the celebration to bring back the light of the world. December 25th is also the birth of 15 other Pagan gods most noticeably Mythra who is the god of taking on sin to be sacrificed. Futhermore festivals around the son, moon, and changing of seasons became Saint Days (do you think its a coincidence that Valentines day just so happens to be during the time when humans are most affectionate). Plus with capitalism the church taxed you 10% and then enforced the rulling to give the crown 33% aka its all about money.

    Christmas was started to replace the pagan winter solstice. Ramadan and Hajj and Kaaba on the other hand had overtly pagan origins. I know you will claim that Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba, but that is verifiably false, no archeologic finds at Mecca to substantiate Abraham or even anything there for the next 2400 years! That story is on the same level as the Mormon stories about Jews becoming the natives of North America.

    To all the Christians out there who are celebrating Christmas. Christmas has got nothing absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Jesus nobody knows when Jesus was born there is no specific date mentioned anywhere in the Bible when Jesus was born. Christmas was a festival celebrated back in the days by the Roman pagans it's a pagan festival. The Romans used to celebrate it on the 25th December as the birth of their sun god, named mithra. Jesus himself never celebrated Christmas he never even heard the word Christmas in his life. That's why there are some Christians who don't celebrate it because they know it's got nothing to do with the birth of Christ. Even in the Bible in Jeremiah 10:3-4 it forbids you to decorate trees and hang gold on trees.
    Also Christmas is not a Christian holiday. One of the most popular Christmas customs involves telling children that there is a jolly potbellied man named santa clause who delivers Christmas gifts to all good children around the world. Of course this myth is found nowhere in the Bible. There is no santa clause he doesn't exist and parents shouldn't lie to their children the bible is very clear that lying is a sin.

      @zahc1002 16 дней назад

      Genuine question. What you say about its origins is 100% true BUT if you use this holiday as a chance to spend time with family, give gifts, and give thanks to God then how can Christmas not have anything to do with Christianity.?Admittedly the tradition has become more and more corporate and corrupt but I feel this reflects a problem with HOW the holiday is celebrated NOT the holiday in itself.

    Here are 4 reasons why Christmas Is not a Christian holiday.
    1) Christmas is not Christian because it is assoclated with many pagan birth myths-and December 25 was not the date of Christ birth.
    2) Christmas is not Christian because most Christmas traditions came from paganism, not the Bible itself 3) Christmas is not Christian because lying is not Christian. One of the most popular Christmas customs involves telling children that there is a jolly potbellied man named Santa clause who delivers Christmas gifts to all good children around the world. Of course this myth is found nowhere in the bible. There is no Santa clause and parents shouldn't lie to their children. The Bible is very clear that lying is a sin
    4) Christmas is not Christian because there are Christian holy days that Jesus kept himself and Christmas is not one of them.
    Also. In the Bible it said in Deuteronomy 12-4 states "you shall not worship the Lord your God in the way these pagan
    peoples worship their Gods.

      Christmas is Christian because it is about remembering the birth of Jesus Christ and to show love. Ignorance is when you assume something and impose your thought processes on others. Hypocrisy and wickedness is when you assume to know God but lack love, flexibility and understanding.

No he didn't he never heard the word christmas in his life if jesus was alive today and if he saw you Christians celebrating christmas he'd say what are you Christians doing this is not from my teachings none of his disciples ever celebrated christmas.
      First read and find out the origin of Christmas where it actually came from since you dont know I will tell you. Christmas was a festival celebrated back in the days by the Roman pagans its a pagan festival the Romans used to celebrate it as the birth of Mithra which is the name of one of their God's the sun God. Christmas has got absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Christ. That's why there are some Christians that I know of today who dont celebrate it because they know it's got nothing to do with the birth of Christ.

      @@RahimAhmed-e2b Jesus is not like Muhammad. He is not one about giving laws, on everything. He gave us only one law, to love the Lord God our Lord and to love our neighbour as ourselves. He said he who is not against us is with us. Paul said, do not question people on issues of days, celebrations and festivals, let him who celebrate do it for God and let him who abstain, abstain in the name of God. Whatever you do, do it for God.
      We are called into the righteousness of God based on faith and good conscience.
      What evil is in celebrating Christmas?
      You who like the Arabians of old go to pilgrimage to Mecca, are you to pass judgement on Christians?
      Do you think you know better than the Christian fathers who celebrated the Christmas in the old?
      The history of Christmas is not based on the pagan religion, Christians celebrated the birthday of Christ on different days till by agreement they harmonized it on the 25th of December. You are not in any competency to challenge what you do not know

      Angel of the Lord is Pre Incarnate Jesus whenever the Angel speaks as God Himself. The Hebrew malak Yahweh becomes the English phrase Angel of the LORD. Notice a few things here. First, the Angel of the Lord tells Hagar that He will “greatly multiply your descendants.” An ordinary angel cannot do that, for only the Lord God can give life (Deuteronomy 32:39). Also, this statement is very similar to what God told Abraham (Genesis 15:5).
      If you don’t reply it means you accept Jesus is God
