The fact that BN helps a ton with skills and actually helps with the draw of this league: echo bosses, its a pretty easy choice. I don't like spamming specs that much for crazy exp.
Yea I def think it will be super annoying spec dumping everything. I agree BN is most likely going to be the best to help out with all the Echo Bosses and in general everything lol. BN is the winner for in this battle.
I dont really do many raids or big bosses. Bankers note will most likely be my choice. Am excited to get into some of those aspects of osrs that i wouldnt normally participate in. Maybe learn something new.
yea I am def going bankers note, I just don't know if I want to do it on both accounts. I'm trying to see if I can finesse a Region route where TR could be strong and a raid I'm comfortable with.
@@imsidvicious i think we'd see more last recalls IF clue compass wasnt going to be a thing, clue compass really does away with the need for last recall
@@axion3979 Agreed, they only way Clue TP would be less OP is if they balanced Clue Scroll drop rates. But even then the stash units just make it straight up better than Bank Heist.
Well KBD is instanced, and mostly Wildy bad so although there might be more people than last time. I think it should be fine in terms of being able to find a spot. Also with Total Recall no one can bully you. You are essentially god mode in those Wildy boss areas. Not to mention you can just squad up and fight the main version like Calisto. But I think getting Wildy medium and fighting Artio for example shouldnt be that heavily contested at all times.
@@imsidvicious Definitely forgot you could pay to have it instanced, though that definitely slows down kills waiting for respawn or paying 50k every time. I really wish they'd give every boss an instance option that drops a echo orb. Pretty cringe D A F K don't get that option while the others do.
Bankers note is much more usefull compared to Total recall. The fact you can bring unlimited supplies to any encounter cancels out the restoring hp/prayer part of TR. The only benefit TR has over BN is the spec restore, which is only usefull for melee builds with the reveals up to now (no spec relic yet). Magic and range builds have slim to none usefull spec weapons. Adding on the fact all raids, a few regular bosses and all echo bosses all instanced makes TR a way worse pick. BN unlocks the possibility to attempt hard content sooner as you have unlimited supplies , think fight caves, inferno, colosseum, raids. So not only is BN way better for skilling it's also better for pvm imo.
You’ve missed out a lot of benefits for recall. It also acts as an ornate pool for as soon as you get it. Set a coordinate and you can instantly restore your stats. Very handy considering only 3 regions can get ornate pool/easy stat restore. Saves a lot of time collecting resources as you don’t need food as much for slayer and bossing and it saves stat boosts, including anglers. Can instantly return to annoying to reach boss locations like cerb, DKs, nightmare, DT2 bosses, Nex, gwd, Vorkath, Zulrah etc. Much less tedious dealing with inventories and not having to note and un-note things. Can commit less to content/pvm by setting a coordinate, doing some bossing/pvm, go do a herb run/skilling and then return back instantly when you feel like it. There’s a lot of extra niche stuff too like forgetting things and having to go bank etc. Imo bankers note is only better if you want to learn hard content or you want more chill skilling. You don’t need BN at all if you know the mechanics. Recalls seems far more flexible imo.
@@ally4131 I disagree, supplies have never been an issue for banknoters. With bank note there is no need to set a recall as you never leave. Let's say BN and TR have about the same benefits for pvm, TR has some BN doenst have and the other way around. With BN you can 0 time crafting, herblore and fletching, 99 rc in 1 hour and buff construction as you can make planks faster and no one will have a butler unless you pick kandarin (no one will). So that's 5 skills that get HUGE time saves compared to TR. That time BN gets to spend pvming more than TR.
@ Recall is much more beneficial for pvm outside of learning content. Can speed time bosses and slayer much much quicker, can restore stats instantly between kills rather than fiddling around with noting and un-noting. With the leagues combat boosts, you likely wouldn’t ever need any food or prayer pots for most bosses. Like I said, recall is also an early game ornate pool which all but 3 regions have no access to instant stat restore. You have to have large quantities of supplies to ‘never be able to leave’ and not everyone wants to do the same piece of content for hours on end, especially when there’ll be a lot of moving around to get points for the first few weeks. For only a 2 month game mode it’s a pain in the ass to have to do farm runs, especially with the limited herb patches and low yields for early-mid game farming. We also may not get that farming relic for this leagues. If you want to max and maximise points for skilling, BN may be favourable but if you just want to get in, do pvm, skilling almost as efficiently in most skills without sweating doing 0 time shit, then I’d say TR. Most players are doing leagues to mess around with broken relics/echo items and get enough points for a few cosmetics, not get dragon rank.
@@ally4131 I really like the last thing you said here. If you want to mess around and try out some broken relics and dont really care for points besides getting the highest relic tier. Then doing stuff like TR and farming GWD or KBD or Wildy bosses is going to be so fun it will be unreal.

Ughhh. Bankers Note seems so much better, but then I just imagine Kopesh speccing corp and I'm like 😩
IK, I'm trying so hard to find a good region combo to Spec spam some bosses with TR lololo

Yes, if you are new into raids and bossing. I would highly recommend Bankers Note! Have fun tomorrow for league start!
saw a poll yesterday, it was no contest, 78% to 22% lol, dont be on the regret squad, go bankers note

If you’re going asgarnia I think that’s the best reason to get total recal. Just for the spec.
Agreed, I think Asgarnia would benefit from TR a lot for the Bosses and I'm thinking Wildy as well.
I want to go wildy too but I'm pretty sure trying to find a world to kill KBD or revs or any of the wildy bosses will be cancer.
