Met and knew Russ on 1976 on Supervixens and in 1977 in Ultravixens. He was a good guy and a great film maker. Too bad he wasn't able to do more. I would have liked to see his "Who killed Bambi" but it got canned at the last minute.
This is a great interview. However, Russ did an interview on the Conan O'Brien show in November 1993 which is also on RUclips, so this is not his final interview.
1:42 ... "What would you consider pornographic?" How about WAR? That's some pretty pornographic stuff. Can't seem to get gov'ts behind the idea that WAR is pornographic. Hmmm? Wonder why not? Great thing about this is that it was filmed in 1990, five years before the internet became main stream.

thanks for this great post. I may be 53 but Russ was nothing but cool and tasteful when I was growing up. He may be gone but he left his impact.

Great video wish I could add it to my collection. I believe his films were much more than sexual liberators and that is what made him a legend!
