I lost 40kgs in less than a year because of alcohol. People kept telling me I “looked good” and “needed to keep it up” yet I was hungry, homeless and depressed. I kept telling people that it took me almost a year into my recovery journey in 2020 to get a normal appetite and some weight back. I learned to love myself as I am. Thanks for sharing. 🙌🏾

Egg whites. I got bullied A LOT for my weight when I was younger. One of my good buddies actually saved my number on his phone as "Fat Bastard". I kinda blocked out all the negative shit but once in a while the echoes of the bullying ring clear in my head. One of the ways people could tell I was drinking and using is my weight. It yo-yos like crazy
