Podolski started playing for the German team , but i am missing Lahm & Schweinsteiger ? Mertesacker as i recalled also started 2004 for the German team ? Kurany who scored 2 goals isnt playing for the German team anymore since ages ! Löw.has never wanted him back to play for Gemany anymore ! Back than Germany played that horrible football when Klinsmann took over with Löw as his assistance and a new better playing German team was slowly formed over the years ! It took some dissapointed losses and defeats for Germany at EC s and WC s till 2014 which was their final year to win a WC , which took 24 years ( 1990 in Rome was the last WC victory!)
Now Thailand also a different team, they have some German born player like Manuel Bihr, Philip Roller and some other European born players.. Recently they reached the final round of 2018 World Cup Qualification, even Australia just win them 2-1.. I think Germany vs Thailand will still the same scoreline 5-1
