She’s actually encouraged me to learn sign language (as a hearing person)
You're not alone Xd
Same. I really really want too and I agree that bls should be taught in school besides other languages
I’m happy other people are learning sign language my mom and dad are deaf here’s a simple sign can you guess it ? 🤟
Now however I’d be willing to learn anything your willing to teach Are your familiar with BSL or ASL
TysonRN asl

It doesn’t work

it is really strange to hear the sounds of a deaf person moving the lips. because it does sound like you whisper some words
rightt Ow
that concert addicted *asmr*
Turn your captions on with 3 dots in the corner and press on it.
@@skudv4375 thank u
I'm a hearing person, I have recently started learning BSL (literally in the last month) for a bunch of reasons. Your videos are great and really helping me learn BSL as well as increase my awareness and understanding of the deaf community.
I 100% agree with BSL being taught in schools and would have chosen it over French and Italian if I had the choice!
am I the only one finding it satisfying when she “speaks”... u know when her lips kinda idk whatever xd just never mind me
moonlighthoneybby idk what she can’t do? She can’t speak or she can’t hear? 😅😅
Nah it gets me excited too. Idk weird. She made want to learn sign language
moonlighthoneybby omfggg same
ASMR
She isn't mute. She speaks in probably a couple other videos, but there is a video where she talks to siri.
I love your video! ❤️
I also sign or talk in my dreams! Also I think sometimes I actually can hear! Soooooo weird
You are not only one, I also hate an interpreter on a TV! Cos when actors talk and an interpreter sign delayed 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for answering my question! I posted my videos about Deaf Awareness Week in Facebook & RUclips 😁
I sign too
love
You are amazing!! My english sucks but i wish you come to Argentina someday. Theres a lot of delicious food and sweets here
I'm an Auslan ( Australian Sign Language ) interpreter and wow even though our languages are similar they are sooo different . It's interesting for me to watch , I understand you 😁😀. These questions aren't the normal ones people ask to Deaf so woo well done to the people asking. 👏👏
If you wanna collab with another deaf British RUclipsr, you should collab with Jessica Kellgren-Fozard
Idk WHY I THINK THIS BUT the way your mouth makes sound when you sorta speak is relaxing and I genuinely believe you’ll be good at asmr
I’m so glad there was a question on what schools could do to improve learning experiences for deaf kids because I am half deaf and this year for my discursive essay for my Higher English (As level if you’re from England) I wrote about how sign language classes should be part of the mandatory languages we have to learn as children in primary school, just like French or Spanish. I think it’s so important that hearing people start acknowledging the deaf community because they so vital part to our everyday life and I feel they are too often isolated by the ignorance of mainstream society.
My dear, you are a role model too.
Encouraging me to learn ASL.
Thank you ❣️💗💖💞💕💝
i dont know why this is in my recommended feed but im glad it is! this is such an educating and eye-opening vlog and ngl, this sounds like a lowkey asmr video, and that is awesome. i also love your jolly and positive attitude! you deserve a million subscribers! kudos!
I love your videos and I wanna say that you are right when you said that school needs to teach sign language, I worked in the uk and I meet a deaf persone and I felt soo bad because I couldn't understand what he was saying. the only problem it's I'm not British and sign language it's not the same in others country ☹️
Hi jazzy I did watch your videos at all time and I agreed your answer to question and my point of view is same as your! I think in UK all school should have a BSL so it makes more easier to us make more new friends or can say for helps
Aiman Mujahid lol
Thank you for answering the question about travelling aboard - Im always afraid of travelling aboard bc I'm afraid they wouldn't understand. Thank you, I didn't actually think we could use gestures :)
I love this video!! I would definitely love to see a part 2.
I am hearing but I am learning British sign language - I loooooove watching your videos and being able to recognise signs as I learn more ☺️
YAY! you answered my question! Thankyou Jazzy!!
WE ALL LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jazzy! You are sooooo amazing and I was been watching your all videos. I love all of your videos!
Fatima Mujahid lol
@@faizaali8438 That's not for lol
So do you wake up to an alarm? Or does someone else wake you up in the morning? I basically depend on my alarm clock to be on time lol
Sparkle Power there is a thing called a bed shaker which you put under the mattress and it shakes the bed when it was the time the alarm is set
@@CorgiTheRegularCorgi17 Neat
Sparkle Power yeah it’s really cool and annoying because it wakes me up :(
@@CorgiTheRegularCorgi17 but I do think that it would be more effective because I sleep through sound alarms so often but probably would not sleep through my bed shaking lol
often times they are also connected to light. for example, deaf households have door”bells” that turn the light off and on repeatedly. i assume there might be similar alarm systems
I was at Starbucks and I had a deaf barista. I said, “hello? Heloooo...” and he didn’t answer. Then another barista came in and said, oh, he is deaf. After that, he thought me a few words like ice, water, milk, and coffee. Just felt like sharing this
I know no one is going to see this comment. But why would anyone give any of her videos a thumbs down. Like literally why. It’s definitely a 👍 thumbs up
Guys , if u wanna know what she says just click the CC thing ( Subtitles/closed captions (c) )
A҉t҉h҉e҉n҉a҉ thanks !
Can’t wait to show my deaf grandparents these!!!
I don't why but when she moves/kinda smacks her lips is so satisfying like no sound and just the "whispering" anyone else?
you are so amazing ily💕💕💕
I work in a nursery with babies and we teach them a couple of basic signs to help them communicate with us since they are too young to be able to talk (i mean it's not that they don't want to but literally their vocal cords aren't developed enough yet). I'm still new to this but for example so far I teach them the word "more/again" (when they are eating), i also teach them the word "done/finished" so they can tell me when they are done eating. There's also a sign for "help" that they use often. There are more but i haven't learned them yet.
So anyways long story short, signing makes communication possible between deaf/mute people and hearing people, but it also has a lot of perks for hearing people too! There are so many benefits that come with sign language and it's so sad that so few people are seeing it. I definitely agree that there should be sign language classes at school!!!! Deaf people should be able to communicate with hearing people !!
I’m not deaf, but I do have hearing loss and I am obsess with the fact that you don’t ever give up and have strong hopes and good faith. While me, I’m not brave but I do try to put some courage in myself and you are making it much better! :3
I’m hearing and I use cc all the time 😂
same here, but I do so mainly because I watch a lot of videos in English, and I'm not a native English speaker so it helps me understand it better xDD
I don’t know much sign language but I have a lot of trouble speaking so it would be nice to learn you should teach some sign language in a video or like once a week or something. It would probably help your Chanel grow and it would be nice coming from someone who actually has to speak sign language rather then someone who dabbles in it. 💕 love your videos
Maddie Renee you can just turn on captions
@@eliseli8004 captions don't help learn sign language fluently lol
Sarah I meant if they didn’t know what jazzy was saying they could just turn on the captions
I definitely agree with you on the deaf RUclipsr part!! It feels like the rest of the world apart from America is pretty isolated on RUclips and yess certainly to more deaf people being on RUclips, they need to be encouraged enough to do so xx
I wanted to watch properly so I turned on captions but I focused more on the signing and to my delight found myself recognising several words! I have been trying to learn BSL for ages by myself as no one around me uses it and there aren't any local classes, so I love watching videos like these where I can learn abt deaf culture etc. And I agree that it should definitely be taught in schools!! Thank you for this video, it was informative and good to watch, great work :) x
New sub here!
Wanted to say that I know people say (rudely) that it sounds like you’re doing ASMR by including your mouthing of words. I actually appreciate it: 1) it helps me lip-read better; and 2) the background is actually really relaxing (sometimes a video completely full of talking/cheesy music gets overwhelming)!
Hope you guys are staying safe during this pandemic. 🙂
I absolutely love watching your channel! It make me feel so comfortable being able to watch your videos without worrying about subtitles etc! Absolutely love your content ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So something suddenly came to me while watching the section on music. The question was how it is for you as a deaf person to watch films! As a hearing person, I can think of many films I've seen where the soundtrack has been important to me in terms of eliciting emotions and heightening the sense of excitement, or romance, or tragedy, or suspense of a scene. Examples that immediately come to mind... "Test drive", the instrumental piece that plays as Hiccup first tries to fly Toothless in the film 'How to train your dragon'; the music that plays as the Beast climbs the castle rooftops towards a returned Belle, whom he thought he would never see again; "Valiant and Valiant" from the film 'Who framed Roger Rabbit', an unbelievably poignant piece of jazz that eloquently leads us without words to understand how much Eddie Valiant is grieving for his dead brother. How is it for you? Do film soundtracks have much of an effect on your enjoyment of a film, or will that more be determined for you by the plot and the characters and the visual beauty of the filming?
Hope that makes sense as a question! :)
In America, none of the schools I’ve gone to have taught ASL
I got tingles from watching this.
Pretty wish I had gorgeous hair like yours
It would be really cool for you to collab with a deaf RUclipsr from another country to compare the different types of Sign Language. Also I didn't realise there was an International Sign Language :) And it's stupid that they don't teach BSL in schools. I loved learning foreign languages but when I worked in a shop I was always a bit embarrassed and ashamed that I couldn't say anything to deaf customers in BSL.
I think the sleeping thing doesn't sound weird at all. I'm hearing and I can "hear" people even though people aren't actually talking around me. Or if I'm watching something in a low volume or no volume, I can also "hear" what someone might sound like based on their expressions, even though I may not know exactly what they sound like. When I read your subtitles, I can hear what I think your voice sounds like along with tone. My brain just kind of adds that automatically based on what I'm seeing.
I think spanish classes are needed because many people in America speak Spanish and it would be great if people understood a little bit would make it easier for people sometimes:,) not saying sign language isn’t needed because it’s also needed but so is spanish too
Similar to sometimes hearing in your dreams.
I’m hearing. Since learning BSL lvl 1 I have started to have dreams where I sign rather than talk!
Weird how brains work!
Tell your Mom that I say Happy Mothers Day and God blessing
I love your video. Keep up the good work. 👀
Fun video, I learned a lot! 😃
Also, your lipstick looks so good here!!
(hearing person here) I completely agree!! I always hated being forced to take French and Spanish, and when I first discovered sign language I wanted to learn that instead!! It should be in schools everywhere!
I can hear and I always prefer with subtitles rather than without
Love you jazzy💕
Love your channel!! 💗 It's so cool how you can sometimes hear in your dreams I thought that was really interesting ! Have a great day ✌️
I just subscribed to you! You're such an amazing and interesting person! I graduated last week and I'll go to university college and study ergotherapy and after that an interpreter for deaf/bad hearing/mute people! Maybe I'll get to watch you without the CC on!
Deffo need a 2nd and 3rd and 4th just all the Q and As haha
jazzy love your video love love love
I love your videos so much you inspire me you are so amazing! It's so awesome that you have gone through all of this! I know itust be hard to have to go through sign language! But maybe one day you will be able to a peek Normally! Love ya! ❤😘
Yesss please do a part 2!!
i’m hearing and i’m trying to learn ASL and hopefully your videos can help me!!
I love your videos. They are amazing and very, very well done.
Back in elementary school, I learned several sign language.
Your hair looks amazing don’t worry 😃
You look so sweet and nice ❤️❤️❤️
Just came upon your channel and I subbed right away! My 3 year old daughter was born deaf in her left ear and she is learning both English and sign. I was wondering when you got the cochlear implant? Been considering it for my little one.
I think you should definitely do a collab with Jessica Kellgren-Fozard. You share the same positive energy and she’s British as well :)
I dont understand sign language can you please put subtitles
Sign language is so cool I wish to learn 1 day
So like I’m learning SIGN LAMGUAGE and you reall help me. Your just a little fast and today i litterally kept saying “WOAH YOU SIGN FAST” in sign I’m screaming
You’re so damn inspirational I admire you! 💗💗
about the thumbs up game, it’s called heads up 7 up where I live and it’s a cool game
It must be embarrassing when you’re still face down 😔
Great video, Jazzy! I am a hearing, but I am enjoying watching your channel so much. I am learning tons and tons because of you! Thank you!!! :-)
Dont u ever think about someone might be breaking into your house and you wont be able to realise it? I think its scary
Feeling some success that I can understand half of the signs, but some signs are different in England compared to Northern Ireland even though both are BSL :D Northern Irish deaf youtuber here! Born deaf but communicate orally. Learnt some sign from my deaf friends years ago, so insanely rusty. Trying to get better! :)
You are so beautiful and creative! 🧡
Communicating in a different way
I agree with that we should learn BSL at schools, but hearing people also must take French or Spanish classes. Im spanish, and because of English classes now I can see English videos, understand and speak English.
I’m really in love with you and all, but yk you can actually get treatment and you’ll be able to hear a lot of things. It still hurts me that there are people who are unable to do shit that most people have but don’t appreciate.
Hi Jazzy i am deaf and i do know BSL so according to your question and i live in Uk ':)
I'm sure you know of most deaf youtubers but RosiePetals is lovely. She's a CI user with a hearing dog. I've found a lot of deaf people in the UK their youtube accounts don't get seen
Bad hair day? Please girrrrrllll your hair looks 100 times better on a “bad day” than mine does on a good day! Lol your so Pretty!❤️
I'm a part of deaf youtuber and I send PM a letter to make a bsl class in school and lots of hearing people did sign language. Not worry jazzy
Wow thank u for that video♥️ I have deaf brother , but he have processors. Whatever this video is cery helpfull to understand his worldview😘❤️
Love ur channel, I have a question when you are driving how do you know if a ambulance of fire truck is coming. Your channel is helping me learn sign language
I wish I could watch jazzy's videos without subtitles.
I have so many questions I could ask her omg. But mostly I want to know what is the best way for hearing people to communicate with deaf people?
I love u jazzy and wish u the best
Hello! I'm from Indonesia. I love your video! ❤
Hey Jazzy i love your videos. I can hear but I really want to learn sign language. It seems very intresting to me. Unfortunally there is no school or classes for learning sing language in Switzerland 😟 Love your videos!!!❤️❤️
I want to love you girl, you're beautiful Jazzy😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
@jazzy can you hear anything??
Is it okay if u put what u are saying in letters Below the screen?????🤷🏽♀️
I would like to watch pt2 btw I’m deaf too
Do a QnA part two plas
Love you
What do things sound like with a cochlear implant? I know they don't make you hear 100 percent, so I was just curious.
Hi, do you think with the invention of the cell phone and texting it evens out the communication barrier to a certain degree? Most young people prefer texting over actually talking these days. Do you think this is an area of growth in breaking down the communication barriers between those who are hearing impaired and their fellow hearing peers?
Doing Part 2! :D
ur so pretty omg
I love youu!!!!
Techno (or trance) is "our" music.
Try you to listen music for "paso doble" dance :) I'm sure, that you like it! :D
Best regards from Austra!
P.S. I am deaf :D
