Tim, this is the way. Beautifully filmed and produced, my favourite of all Tim Siggs videos to date. Some of those bird calls like the crested bellbirds i have heard but never seen, now i know exactly what they are. Simply mate, make more films like this, beautiful work. Cheers Phil
So many different birds and great wildlife and scenery there. After seeing this fantastic video I really want to go back to those parts of Queensland again.
After your last documentary of the birds of the rainforest another stunning film about Queenslands wildlife. Captivating shots! Very emotional. Thank you for sharing and for your fantastic work.
Thanks so much my friend. This one was special and a great region to visit. I have many more documentary's written and footage taken but so little time ! I appreciate your kind words.
Makes me want to head back out that way (I've done the northern Channel country (Winton area), but the southern parts are on my list of places to visit.
No favourites. All just so very good and evocative birds and landscapes . Still vividly remember my first sunset in Mitchell Qld as a 17 year old 60 years ago.
Fantastic video Tim. You can see you took a great amount of time up there to record so many species. Really captured what it would be like to be in that late of Australia.
Thanks, I hope you enjoyed it. There's so much to see out there. We were then for a month but captured many more species which will feature in another documentary, Cheers!
What a beautiful documentary, Tim. The scenery and wildlife are just stunning and the photography, music and narration are all wonderful. Congratulations! 😊
What an outstanding production, Tim! Very exceptional. Loved the narrative and seeing so many of these magnificent species all in the one video. Your editing is perfect. Absolutely loved it!
High praise indeed and thanks so much mate. I'm finding my way each time and getting a rhythm and style that I'm comfortable with. Each topic does require a different approach to some extent though. I appreciate your support.
Beautiful video! It must have taken a lot of work to get this all together, so thank you! Favourite? It was all fantastic, but I loved the Bourke Parrot on the dead branch, mirroring the colours around him.
Wow, some great footage there Tim, and a great job editing the doco too. I just got back from out there 4 weeks ago, but now I want to go again. The Bourke Parrots were my favourite part!
Beautiful images, but the narration rarely fitted well, and felt like it was reaching for something to say. Less talking and more of the birds' sounds would work well. Slow mo works better with a high frame rate.
Thanks. There was as specific brief for this production and thankfully it has been well received. More to come and possibly more along the lines of your taste.
This is probably my favorite production to date. What is your favorite part?
If push came to shove, it'd be the budgerigars and cockatiels in their natural home instead of a cage.
Every minute, but those little Bourke parrots are something special ❤❤🎉🎉
Breathtaking impressive film, so striking. The bird's kingdom is amazing.
Yes, it's a birdwatcher's paradise, and it is pretty special. Thanks for watching.

Many thanks Phil, I appreciate your kind words and I have some more in the pipeline.

Thank you Tim for this beautiful documentary.

The best Aussie bird video I have seen. I will be heading that way in winter.
Kind words indeed and very much appreciated. Have a great trip.

Yes, it is a truly special place and many memories are made there.
This was such a joy to watch, I loved it all and couldn’t choose a favourite part. South West Qld truely is a magical place.
Once again, thank you, yes SW QLD is truly wonderful.
A GREAT BOBY OF WORK.
Thanks so much.
Beautiful work, Tim. I loved the Bourke parrots and the chats best
Thanks so much David, so many good birds out there and the conditions were the best I have ever seen.
This is absolutely wonderful 👌 Loved the whole video, seeing the different birds, their calls and the landscapes in which they live. Congratulations!

Amazing Tim!! Thanks for sharing with us! 👍👍👍
Thanks heaps for your kind words and your support
The depth of field in some of those shots was spot on .... the shot of the red capped robin leaving the rotted log was superb....😀🙂🇦🇺
Thanks so much. I appreciate this kind of analysis and these scenes make all the difference.

Beautiful work Tim! Wow those blue skies out there are fabulous. Some lovely golden hour footage there too.
Thanks Mick, yes the birds and the environment combined for a wonderful location this time.
Beautiful video! It must have taken a lot of work to get this all together, so thank you! Favourite? It was all fantastic, but I loved the Bourke Parrot on the dead branch, mirroring the colours around him.

Thanks so much Gary, such a special region. I enjoyed creating this one and have more planned. I know what you mean about going again!
Fantastic. I haven't seen the budgies in the wild so this might be a good place to go.
They are quite a sight and best viewed after the rains when they are breeding in good numbers
Great work mate loved this!
Many thanks for your kind words and your support.
Fantastic work, Tim - very evocative. Makes me want to visit asap....
Thanks for watching and for your kind words. It’s a special part of the world.
Brings back so many amazing memories!
Glad I could help!
Have just come across your work Tim, wonderful stuff, brings back lots of memories of our past birding trips to the outback.
Glad you found me! That's the thing I love most, the memory and it is awesome sometimes to watch something from way back. Thanks for your support.
Looking forward to Music in the Mulga which has moved to Thargo next year and to enjoy the country again
That will be a great trip and a great festival.
Hey Tim, this is as good as it gets !!! Fantastic work. Could you share the equipment you used during the making of this documentary ? 🤠😎
Thanks so much for your nice feedback. I am using Nikon gear, Z6,8 and 9, mostly shot with 180-600 zoom.
Beautiful images, but the narration rarely fitted well, and felt like it was reaching for something to say. Less talking and more of the birds' sounds would work well. Slow mo works better with a high frame rate.
