    How on earth can someone have so much patience to do this? This man is a blessing to humanity, absolutely incredible. His whole manner is that of such care and respect.

    If only this skill was taught in the U.S., but your video instructions are very inspirational. Thank you.

    Tailoring is an art and engineering. You are the most amazing artist and engineer.

      Thank you. To be a good tailor you need to be an artist, engineer and most important to study the human anatomy. When someone has a curved spine or very slopped shoulders a good tailor will know how to cut the fabric so that the suit fits like a second skin.

    Thank you for your comments Donald. I have no apprentices and work alone in my studio where I get lost in my craft. I prefer the solitude of working alone so that all my attention goes into what I am creating. One day I plan to write a book about Bespoke tailoring to pass onto the next generations of tailors. Until then, I hope you enjoy my videos. I am working on a new video for the winter on overcoats and maybe a beautiful double breasted for the spring. Looking forward to your comments.
    Best regards, Rudolf

      Any updates on the book? That would be awesome.
      Also, what's the importance of hand sewing over machine sewing?
      Thanks!

    Mister Popradi: You make this work look easy but ti's not at all. What a pleasure to watch a craftsman create a sport jacket in the best way ever. I take a deep bow! Wish I could be your student for ten years :)

    I so enjoyed seeing the beautiful linen jacket. There are places far from Montreal where it is impossible to wear wool during most of the year if one wishes to go outside at all. Linen is the answer despite its difficulty in terms of sewing and maintenance.

    Don't see many of this kind of work, even under my teacher. Still makes great work, but the way that the pockets are in this is shows that more effort was put into this. Amazing attention to detail with pointing the button to the same direction.

    Kedves Rudolf! Több videót is megnéztem Öntől és lenyűgözőnek találom a munkáit. Elképesztően szép és pontos az öszes apró részletében minden munka. Gratulálok ezekhez a remekművekhez!

    Kedves Rudolf! Csodálatosan szép munka! Sok éves vágyamat váltottam nem rég valóra, amikor vettem végre egy ipari varrógépet. 46 éves vagyok és most ismerkedem a varrással, de a sok-sok gyenge színvonalú RUclips tutorial érdektelen számomra, mert kezdetektől a csúcsminőséget kerestem. Az Ön munkáitól le vagyok nyűgözve! Ez az amit kerestem! Szerencséje, hogy Kanadában él, mert különben nem hagynám békén, hogy személyesen is beszélhessek Önnel 😊 . Ezeket a remekműveket látva megint napokig nem fogok tudni aludni. Megnéztem a többi videóját is. Tökéletes elegancia, jó ízlés, és professzionalitás. Még egyszer nagyon gratulálok!

    Hello!! I am trying to return to sewing clothes after a number of years doing just quilts and I am absolutely stunned by the work being done on these videos. That said, I learn best when I actually see the object being made versus seeing the end result. Do you have instructional videos or DVDs of how to lay out the cloth, how to cut the pattern, how to mark the fabric and what kind of marking devices you use (tailor tack with thread vs chalk vs marking pens for example), how to interface or interline garment panels, etc. I know tailoring and haute couture will take a lifetime of apprenticeship and cannot really be taught over the internet, but having something like a video or DVD would help me immensely. Thank you for your time.

    Does a linen jacket get wrinkled easily like other linen garments?

    • @RudolfPopradi
      @RudolfPopradi  4 года назад +1

      That is the nature of the cloth but if you purchase a good quality linen then it doesn't wrinkle as much as a less expensive cloth.

    • @RudolfPopradi
      @RudolfPopradi  8 лет назад +2

      This is a beautiful linen jacket. I used the highest quality linen. Linen is classy for all occasions and for all ages. A true bespoke linen jacket, with 2 fittings is approx $2,000.
